Scam artists like these are the reason we can’t have nice things…

Wrath's words are too true. These are indeed evil people that enjoy stealing from us with lies and deception. Thanks Wrath for spreading the awareness, and hope this is totally resolved for the victim as the one that got scammed didn't deserve to be scammed in the first place.

My condolences
I got scammed out of around 600$ on his discord aswell. It wasn't someone who was trying to impersonate Wrath, but Steam support. Normally having dealt with such many times in the past, I wouldn't have fallen for it. But someone who had been on the discord for quite a while had their account compromised and the asshole used their account to trick me into beliving them.
To be honest, I was being a little dumb not noticing the obvious hints. Like how they needed to use the same way we do to get access to the account, or the fact that they claimed they needed to borrow money for their processes to work... But it looked so fucking real. Be careful out there, scammers are getting more tricky with their tactics. I was lucky I had preemptivly sent a account recovery request to steam support. Otherwise the scammer probably would have deleted the account just to spite me. Seems like holding onto old steam wallet cards was a genius idea after all

I feel like games and websites apart of games should keep a warning message about users like them. I Lost 150$ worth of tf2 items cuz of believing someone that my account was going to be banned. Please be careful everyone!! You don’t know the things people will do to steal from others.
