Love how they put enough research in to insert a minor detail about the German Peasants' War and the Italian wars, but not enough to avoid putting 'Siegfried headed east [from Greece] to the Colosseum.'
On Sophitias stage, Li Long or Rocks stage, it's possible to inflict so much knock back on death with moves like Siegfrieds drop kick to the point where the camera is zoomed way out due to a few circumstances
(Oh yeah, spoiler for the 4 people that still dont know) Accidentaly killing your Father and going fucking insane be like: Also, that Arena Theme do be hittin'
Yep. They attack fast and hit hard. It's unfortunate if characters lack a good weapon to help them with that. Siegfried probably has it the easiest against them.
What is Siegfried without his stomps?! 😎 (I think we just press the stomp buttons multiple times for extra stomping but I don't remember off the top of my head)
Except maybe Cervantes with Serpent's Tongue and Rock with Great Ax. Li Long's got an amazing final weapon, but he takes more skill to use than those 3.
Brother you didnt finish yet the EDGE MASTER MODE. HIS final weapon is RED just like souledge, the one he hold in the end in his Arcade mode when he possessed by the sword.
I know man, I know. Answered this somewhere else already but I didn't really think it mattered at the time since the ultimate weps come from repeating a stage. Looking back, it would have been nice to include them
sorry, can you help me? I need to know how to get the last sword, I passed all the edge master mode and I did not receive it. do i have to pass arcade mode?
@@mamameelhuevo8002 If after the credits you immediately replay the level before Cervantes and win, you get the final weapon. If you lose, the weapon moves to a different level, which you have to keep winning various levels until you find the level it moved to and win it.
@@joegoodman8213 It's randomly adjacent to the Cervantes stage at first and will never be on that stage. So in Siegfried's case, it's either in Italy or Germany right off the bat. If you lose on the level the weapon's on, it'll move to another stage away from the stage you're on. You'll know if the weapon was on that stage because a 'Time's Up' losing animation plays. If it's not on that stage and you lose, no worries, the weapon won't move from the stage it's on, so you can go to that stage and try your luck. Hope this makes sense.
This Edge Master Mode was so immersive. Nothing like it since the original Soul Blade / Edge.
Yup. Easily my favourite part of the game.
@@Lyeron Indeed! Not sure why the franchise went backwards after something so amazing like this.
Ikr
Everybody is gangsta til they get stomped out by Siegfried...
"Wearing Red Armor"
How quaint, it's a shame the Azure Knight took Blue instead
That ending on the first fight. Priceless.

@13:24 - and thus Nightmare was born
Nothing like a good stomp to your enemies, eh? It wakes their ass right up.
😂😂😂😂
This is how epic history games should be developed
What a nostalgia, this gem had good soundtrack and mechanic in that age
Yup. Still a fun one to this day 😎
@@Lyeron what emulator you use it
@@ytpromo6401 I think it was RetroArch > Beetle HW for these
Agreed. One of a kind.
Those stomps were something serious! 😂😂😂😂
Good Lord the stomp 😂😂😂
“You’re pretty good.”
Honestly that was way better than I could ever hope to do in Soul Edge, great job!
Also sad that he didn’t have these swords In The later games they look amazing
Well done! You worried me by choosing the Claymore at the last match, but still good job.
Cervantes and Soul Edge attack fast so it's not the worst choice in the world.
Damn I miss this game, specially Siegried's dropkick when the enemy is one hit away.

fiercely stomps his opponents small or big lol
I could see young Siegfried being voiced by Chris Hackney.
Edit: I could also see him being voiced by Dario Coates (Oersted in Live a Live).

My favvvvvv heroooo
hes only 5''1 as well
He was only 16 at the time. Makes his story more tragic to know he was just a confused kid who got possessed by a demon sword ⚔️ 🔥
Against Cervantes and Soul Edge, speed is king! :)
😎

I play this game since when i was 8-9(i'm playing It right now) and still don't know how to make multiple stomps

All of them? ALL?!
Yeah, probably 😎

What TV do you use? Cause these older games always look like caca on my 4K TV. Even with a scanlines filter
