Fox hunters understand exactly what they are doing. It is people who are not from the area, not from the same background. People who have never hunted and live a different lifestyle who do not understand what they do.
To be in the country is part of it. But to watch the hounds work to watch try to out think the hounds,(which many of times they do). Anti hunters will never understand that true hunters are animal lovers and that is part of the reason we do it. To me it is the most beautiful thing on earth. I know this is very hard for some people to understand. Just like some people to not find beauty in the mountains the way I do.
The hunting of foxes in the 20th and 21st centuries have subsided massively, due to the unstable prices of fox pelts. Animal liberationists have protested against the hunting of foxes, and other feral animals such as rabbits, feral cats, goats, pigs, camels etc., but these animals are feral and are killing machines which are destroying the native fauna in Australia.
I don't know allot about the history of the area your in. But in most parts of the civilized world the apex preditor has been replaced by man. (IE in the US the Wolf). Now in these areas man must hunt to keep a natural order or their will be an over population of animals. So my question is simple what is they apex preditor in that area that use to keep the fox population in check??

A fucking fox killed all of our chickens the other day and only ate one, they have also killed many of our lambs over the years and that is why hunting should not be banned.

Where did I infer that I only focused on self imoportant issues? I simply stated that what doesn`t concern me DOES NOT CONCERN ME, and hence, is none of my business! Read that, or get someone who can read (try your local library or drug rehabilitation centre)and do try to keep up, will you?
i dont know who ur talking to. i've never killed a hound in my entire life. u dont know me, it's not ur place to judge me-i've saved dozens of hounds nursing them back to health from illnesses, disease, and funny to mention..broken bones from being called off the hunt to a group of sabs..who happened to be calling from the opposite side of a busy road..all but one of the hounds i've treated are happy, healty, and back on the hunt! is there ne more propaganda you'd like to get out there?
OK, I admit that this was inaccurate and probably untrue, however your "only represented the upper classes" is also completely wrong - a wide span of people hunted, and still do. Not just upper-class people. And it is not history, it lives still. "IGNORANT and FAT HEADED" Is there really need to be insulting? Debates tend to be better when insults are not present. I respect that some people, including you, are against hunting - but you should respect that I am not.
