Thank you- I think this helped my ankle pain! Almost every step is painful since a ligament pull almost two years ago. Have been working to strengthen muscles around it. But it just occurred to me the pain could be nerve impingement. How can I tell what is causing the pain? Sometimes no pain, others its excrutiating
Hi there, will doing these flossing exercises help with numbness along the lateral plantar nerve? I’ve been experiencing this after having a very sore ankle & hoping these flossing exercises will help me. Thank you 🙏🏻
Podiatrist thinks I have tarsal tunnel. I’m waiting for MRI appointment. Is there a way to diagnose tarsal tunnel for sure? And if I do have it, does flossing cure it? Anything else I can do? I like the videos, such clear instructions. I will do these everyday.
I have a broken foot, doesn’t need surgery. Orthopedic surgeon said I could start wearing a shoe. I’m getting tingling and electric shock in my foot and leg. Will this exercise help?
Thank you so much for an excellent video. I was wondering when can I start exercising my feet, So I wait after I have the tibial nerve under control? What exercises would you recommend to start strengthening my feet. Thank you so much for such detail and precise instruction.
It depends in part on how long the nerve has been compressed and the severity. Sometimes improvement begins to be felt after the first few days and it typically takes about six weeks of daily flossing to notice significant improvement.
Hi, new subscriber here :-) I just discovered your channel and your flossing excercise videos are the best! I finally got some relief from a nerve problem I have been having for the last 2 months. In this video, you suggest performing also strengthening excercises. Are any specific ones you would recommend? Thank you so much!

I was diagnosed with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome over 20 years ago. My pain is not constant or consistent. It manifests as an extremely sharp shooting pain behind the inside of my left ankle and it abates almost immediately but it keeps happening every few steps I take and on certain occasions has higher tendency to occur. I’ve seen podiatrists and worn several different orthotics. Taping is the only way I can run. What else can I do to fix this issue? No Dr. seems to fully grasp the issue and are hesitant to take any action. Any advice you can provide would be very much appreciated! Thanks.
@escapableentropy -I have been suffering with the same for 3 years. Finally have a Dr. who is investigating entrapment of the Soleal Sling. Have someone look into it for you!
@@annieoneil8081 OMG thank you so much for responding. I'm seeing an ankle surgeon who thinks its from my spinal issues, but admits it could be both. I know my body, its a foot/ankle issue. Just had MRIs done too. I will look into this! anymore info you can provide would be greast!!!!
@@MovementFunctionyeah, i wanted to ask if this issue could be the result of gluteal tendinitis? Recovering for 7 mths now. Slowly getting better but now that my hip is stronger all of a sudden the tibial nerve has started acting out. Why…
I appreciate the pace of your presentation as well as the detailed symptoms of the issue and clear instructions for the addressing it.

is this good for a shin splint due to foot turning in?
Yes, the flossing movements in this video would help relieve shin splints and possible help realign the foot.
does it stem from the hip and internal rotation?@@MovementFunction
@@naturelover1284 Possibly. There are many potential causes of in-toeing.
