Will it be possible to buy the Basil faceplate if I turn my Pizza into one?
Really cool to see you guys and Noise Engineering make these “platform” modules that allow for multiple types of firmwares. I’ll be getting both anyways but I love this.

This is a fantastic idea! I was just examining the "eclipse" sticker on my Pizza yesterday, and wondering what secrets it held. 🌘🤔 The shape and controls of the Pizza module are so lovely; I'm extremely excited that Bastl is turning it into a "platform" module, and I'm definitely going to get a taste of that Basil pizza this weekend.
Now you can know that the ecplise symbol is actually pizza in the box from top view 🤭
@@bastlinstruments yes, after some time I grasped the pizza-in-a-box meaning 🍕, but at first I was wondering its a missing knob area or even a touch plate 🤣

I’ve been using my pizza as a basil for a while now and gotta say I enjoy it more as basil than pizza (because I already have too many oscillators!). I really really really wish you’d offer the Basil faceplates for sale. Then I can look at it as it’s supposed to look 😊

Too many oscillators? What heresy! Haha :D We don't offer it as it would put additional pressure on our production. We see the possibility as a demo for our customers so they can try a different roduct without the need of spending money to try it.
Bastl fanboy here. Is that the same process used to update the Pizza firmware?
YES! It's the same. You just connect it to your computer and switch the firmware.
Do we just have to make the reverse thing (delete the file) to bring back the Pizza firmware ?
When you want to have pizza oscillator fw you will upload the firmware. Same process, different file.

Goodness I love this! I was just thinking how fun it would be to have a little battery powered mini system to go to a couple places with in town but my only effects are Ghost or and Mimeophon. This will fit the bill nicely! I love that you made this a platform. That’s such an amazing surprise!
