just record the first part, then the second, then add the two together with an editing software like sony vegas pro (there are alternatives, but you can crack it extremely easy.) As to the part where shes waiting for her cue, i'd imagine shes listening to the first recording and cuts the background music/noise out so we dont hear it. As soon as the second violin starts playing, you cut the backing track (or keep it very quiet), so that you only use it to know your cue and not have it in the background. Look at the ending of this video by the way, you can see exactly what i just wrote out haha.
Two notes: 1. She should use a click track, so that when you put two pieces together they will be in the same tempo. 2. She should put on headphones to listen to the metronome clicks. This way, she’ll play with the correct tempo but the clicks won’t be auidable in the recorded material.

Edit 10 months later, i decided to learn concerto in a minor instead, then i had a break from the violin. I would like ti have more privacy while i play it.

Maria Vass the one on Spotify is the original title I reckon, this videos title is just simplified into saying what it is
This piece is known as "Bach Concerto for Two Violins", or otherwise known as the "Bach Double Concerto".
Attack on Titan As a classical musician we don’t use the whole title to name a piece, it’s just Bach Double Concerto.
