- The lamp is made of iron pipes and fittings and painted in black.
The ignition distributor was found in the dump, cleaned and painted red.
Dimmer was taken from an old and broken lamp.
The potentiometer was dropped from the integrated circuit board and inserted into the valve
Electric wiring completely new.

Very nice. Would be cool to have gone ahead and put some big spark plugs in those threaded parts where the wires led into and attached the wires to the end of those. I knew a guy that collected weird spark plugs. With a little research you could probably find some crazy looking unique ones that are still available.

It certainly looks great but I dont think its steampunk ( sure it has valves and pipes ) but by look ( somewhat like ribcage with heart ) it fits style of Alien much more ( techno organic ). Steampunk lamp would be more like oil lamp usually but still you had a nice idea and did a good job.

Just out of curiosity. The black pipe you didn't get at home depot or Lowe's. It's a decorative pipe. If you don't mind sharing where you purchased it I would appreciate it.

I've watched tons of videos on different pipe lamps and ideas but you my friend have by far succeeded in this category and we appreciate it
Building a lamp, editing video and responding to comments takes a lot of time, unfortunately I still have to work because UA-cam does not bring money, it's most likely a hobby. I hope in the near future I will somehow make a list of materials but not now.

How are you removing the valve without cracking the post? The hardware cracked two posts
and the gate never came out.

I would have used 6 AP spark plugs . Top it off.
Nice lamp, but i think the spark plug leads just being feed into the elbows was not thought out properly, you could have finished that better, it looked a little lost.
What are putting on the threads?
The glue is Cimberio Loxeal Threadsealant 58-11 (Gas & Water) 250ml tube
Why, pipe threads don't need glue if you get them tight.
Because the tightening does not always match the way you need it, and when using glue you do not need to tighten strongly after 5 seconds, the glue dries
That's what pipe wrenches are for. But I understand.
