AFAIK, there is no official sources saying Patrot was used to shoot down the Su-34s and Su-30... It might perfectly be SAMP/T which, despite a little less range than Patriot's PAC-2, has significant advantages over it, especially in such conditions (near the frontline), and it will be merciless : if the Aster is dodged, it re-engages the target which has lost too much energy to dodge another attack immediately... The M2k may have some nice features the F-16 is not too fit for: 6 missions per 24h, use from roads, low altitude deep penetration and if a Syrian Su-22 could dodge an AIM-9X launched from only 8km, that's not w.o. reason NATO nicknames the MICA AAM as silent death... RWR won't beep and with 50G manoeuvres, well, if you manage to know that one like this (as well as the IRIS-T) is after you, well, either you eject or you're dead. My little finger tells me that Turkish and Pakistani F-16s had some FAFO troubles at messing with Greek and Indian Mirage-2000s... Even if Bill Clinton obtained from Pakistan and India NOT to publish the A2A losses of the Kargil War, I let you guess why the PAF soon kept all its jets 100km away from Kargil while IAF simply exterminated Paki light mountain infantry (only 3 captured and about 4000 KIA according to former PM Sharif who labelled it a pure slaughter, at the same time, they were disguised as "militants" therefore, no Geneva convention, moreover, they captured border guards and civilians and tortured them to death. As for the questions and speculations about F-16s, people should wait and see what happens because by now they should know that we have all been asked by the AFU to 🤫 which I'm guessing means to stop gossiping and only go by official announcements and genuine requests for anything Ukraine might need. Let's face it... no one seems to be asking russia what supplies they have, do they! By all means yes, Ukraine can let us know what it needs, but we must respect that a lot has to be kept confidential during a war. Lives depend on it.

To me it was the roar of F-104's flying low over my German native place back in the 60s. Nowadays it's quite rare to hear a fighter jet, also because most of the training is done in the US and Canada. Thank you for your support for German freedom, but the Ukrainian people deserve the same and a lot more. Ukraine could already be in year seven of F-35 training, had NATO leaders been wise enough to draw the right conclusions from Russia annexing Crimea and engaging in covert warfare in the Donbas. High time for Ukraine to get all the vital support they need, so many Ukrainian lives have been lost unnecessarily while we in the West are sitting comfotably and safely in our heated homes. @benzminibusdoc I wonder if anyone in Germany 🇩🇪 remembers/know about the 'Berlin Airlift' from June 1948 to May 1949...? To me, that was one of the most Remarkable Endeavors ever attempted/completed. The Soviet Union blockaded anything from coming into West Berlin, threatening starvation of 2 000 000 people. Transport Aircraft from predominantly America, were flying into West Berlin every day, round the clock, some 1,500 flights/day, for almost a full year, delivering enough supplies for the people of West Berlin to survive. No Aircraft was on the ground longer than 49 minutes. The 2 airports Tempelhof and Tegel, were very dangerous to land at, and several fatal crashes happened, and several Pilots were killed. 😢 Finally, the Soviets gave up, and the blockade was lifted. A disastrous PR catastrophe for the USSR...and an enormous PR Victory for America and The West. 😀👍 Nobody wants to remember that, nowadays, though.
@@dioghaltasfoirneartach7258 a large proportion of Germans are remembering it, at least Berliners and West Germans. East Germans might not even be aquainted to this, and ignorance of events like this may contribute to some East German's biases towards the USA To me it was an important counterbalance to negative perceptions of the US involvement in Vietnam, several coups in South America and around the world, US support for Dictators like Marcos or Reza Pahlevi. But for a European there can be no doubt about the benevolent and brave actions of US citizens serving their country in the military. The former Soviet Union and now Russia don't have anything to show on that account
Greetings from Los Angeles, California, USA, Anna!! F-16s have arrived in Ukraine as far as The New York Times says but I doubt they're flying missions. Maybe? Maybe not? We don't really know?
The basic design of the F-16 is from the 70's. BUT, the avionics, radars, weapons systems and even the airframe has been updated several times. The F-16 C/D variants came out in the mid 2000's and the F-16V as late as 2012.
With the arrival of F-16's, Ukraine will be able to use more Western military doctrine as ours relies on land, sea and air all working together. Sea isn't a big factor with Russia afraid to lose more of their Black Sea fleet. Also, Anna you're very pretty. This combined with news and the support of Ukraine gets my subscription. I'm a simple man.
I've written both Democrats and Republicans on behalf of your country (and I'm a lot Ukrainian so it's both ethnically my country here and there) and for some reason unrelated to the importance of supporting the Ukrainian people part of my government keeps trying to link support for Ukraine to other unrelated things. I agree that aviation is just one link in the chain of combined arms combat. And I agree that aviation alone cannot win a WAR. But aviation is an important link in my opinion. And it's been the missing link of the chain for Ukraine so far in their fight to exist.
@@minerranI don't think any Ukrainian f16 pilot will be worried about mig 35s. The f16s will be flying over Ukraine and the black Sea. Russian mig 35s will be in Siberia for photo shoots and testing.

Yes for the live Saturday.
No reason for UAF to announce their arrival until after first use, just like Storm Shadow, ATACMS, HIMARS etc. Glory to the pilots, defending Ukraine's right to exist with insane machines.
yes, we need to wait for RUSSIA to tell us when they've "noticed" F-16 damage
wait til Russia gets the B-2 visit
Exactly, no need for the enemy to know in advance.
No reason to tell after first usageet the Russians wonder until they themself finds out for sure.
The AFU CbY put out a promo that highly suggests 1 f16 is under Ukraine command. Possible they did it in a bunker in Romania or Poland or..... but they certainly are in command of 1
Maybe, maybe not. Keep them guessing. :)
Slava Ukraini from Germany Anna 😘
"Why Ukrainians learn so fast:" Motivated, yes. But also Ukrainians are also highly educated, in comparison to even the greatest democratic nations. 🏆
They are descended from the Cossacks. Even Star Trek held them in highest regard. Remember Ceckov?
Mendelayev, who invented the Periodic Table of the Elements, in 1847, was Ukrainian.
Actually, I think he (Mendeleev) was russian-born @@rdelrosso1973 He was also allegedly a bigamist.
Why don't you just say....Ukraine is a very resourceful and technically advanced nation. By the way, who makes the F-16 or other Nato fighters?
@@jonathanstein5049NATO countries. What a stupid question? If your wanting me to say Americans you’d be wrong it’s primarily Britains BAE, Germany, Sweden, France, Canada and US for fixed wing plus Italians for rotary. Google?
I still think those F-16 Vipers are out there... flying at night. Possibly with contract maintainers and "advisors" helping fly them.

I dont think they're there yet.. Maybe soon but these pilots have to understand english well to operate these. F-16V is the viper F-16 is Falcon

Stay safe. Hope you still have some good times with family and friends during these days, even with a war going on. As far as I'm concerned, I'm very impressed with what Ukraine is doing with the tools available.

thank you once again for an honest and concise review of what is happening to your country. Looking forward to watch your country rebuild once you win.
Heroyam slava! 💙✌💛 A livestream on Saturday sounds fabby, Sister.
Yep....
Love from 'Australia',, Anna,, Still standing with you,, remain strong dear and keep doing your great work.
I live in Nevada. I have a range near a airbase. I bump into the same 6 Ukrainian guy's for over a year. I even bought them all dinner & drinks one night after the range.
I have a picture with them. Used to see them almost every week. Now over a month there gone which might be a sign!🙏

Anna, so many victory by the Ukrainian Air Force! Maybe they are already flying the F-16 against enemy targets. United we Stand for Ukraine against aggressors.

Statements by Gen. Ben Hodges are exactly on the same line!
Everyone should be free and be allowed to live free
The roar of the F-16 is actually the sound of freedom ringing. I live by a base in Colorado and sleep better when I hear them flying overhead. I'm grateful to the men and women of our military that allow me to lay my head down in peace. Anna, I know peace is coming to Ukraine. The whole world is grateful to the men and women of the Ukrainian armed services for fighting to keep the world safe (even if our dumb ass governments don't show it). Slava Ukraine ♥️🇺🇦🇺🇸

@@benzminibusdoc, WELL SAID, couldn't agree more.
Finally, the Soviets gave up, and the blockade was lifted. A disastrous PR catastrophe for the USSR...and an enormous PR Victory for America and The West. 😀👍
Nobody wants to remember that, nowadays, though.
@@dioghaltasfoirneartach7258 a large proportion of Germans are remembering it, at least Berliners and West Germans.
East Germans might not even be aquainted to this, and ignorance of events like this may contribute to some East German's biases towards the USA
To me it was an important counterbalance to negative perceptions of the US involvement in Vietnam, several coups in South America and around the world, US support for Dictators like Marcos or Reza Pahlevi.
But for a European there can be no doubt about the benevolent and brave actions of US citizens serving their country in the military.
The former Soviet Union and now Russia don't have anything to show on that account

You are so cute.❤ GLORY TO Ukraine. ❤
Greetings from Los Angeles, California, USA, Anna!! F-16s have arrived in Ukraine as far as The New York Times says but I doubt they're flying missions. Maybe? Maybe not? We don't really know?
Чудове відео. F16 - старий літак, але він дуже хороший. Great video. The F16 is an old plane, but it is very good.
The basic design of the F-16 is from the 70's. BUT, the avionics, radars, weapons systems and even the airframe has been updated several times. The F-16 C/D variants came out in the mid 2000's and the F-16V as late as 2012.
I worked for General Dynamics from 1988-1991. C/D variant was already out. That’s all we were building.
@@helifanodobezanozi7689 It is a great airplane.
@@Steven-pu1bi I love the versatility of this machine.
@@Steven-pu1bi Good to know. But the V was definitely rolled out in the last 10 years or so.
Of course the military is not going to give folks the "latest"...but good job, Anna !
I came here for the eyes.
To answer your question, I would appreciate a livestream. I appreciate you.
When I read "Ukrainian pilots are training on F-16" I hear "on Russian targets!"
Slava Ukraine
Heroyam Slava!
Democrats vote for aid seditious Freedom Caucus GOP are bought by Putin. They were caught in 2016 and Johnson in 2018
That's how Congress works. Or rather doesn't work.
Democracy barely works in the US.
You don't have to worry about support from most Democrats. It is the Repugs who are holding up help with some firmly in the pro Putin camp.
