You have lots in and around Heraklion, the most famous being Knossos Palace - maps.app.goo.gl/ArkVtUr19o6VmbxU6?g_st=ic As far as boat trips I am sure the hotel will have excursion options but I am not so sure on where and what they will offer. From Heraklion port I believe you can organise boat trips and there is an island you can see called Dia which again I believe you can organize trips too. We were here too early in the season and nothing was properly open but I am sure there will be excursion shops offering different day trips or you can hire a car and drive along the coast in either direction. What she fails to mention is that it under the flight path of ever plane landing at Heraklion Airport. So found it amazing she managed to film without the noise of a plane landing interrupting her😂
Haha love it, I asked all flights to stop whilst filming 🤣🤣🤣 problem being 10min from airport, you will 100% hear the planes! We were lucky and there at the start of the season so not many planes on and off of the island. For us it was a perfect airport hotel. 🙃
