2:37:00 is easily a highlight, neo's death before he's at the door followed by the coil also JFJ realising he's dead right as the helmet just rolls down the stairs
old vod, but zap gun allows you to safely kill a braken with a shovel and flashbangs give you a huge window to bail from a coil head. You can earn your way out, you just need to know how to use what they give you. Granted the zap gun was bugged back when this was live, but still
4:23 bro I bet this guy likes orange juice with pulp!!! The only thing I want crunchy on my peanut butter and jelly sandwich is the bread because toasted bread is delicious!!!
If he adds a way to fight back "permanently", it isn't fixing the game, It's fundamentally changing the game into a different experience. What if amnesia just gave you a gun? Or Outlast? It would COMPLETELY change the dynamic. and the entire atmosphere. The entire point of the game is that you need to BE SMART and use strategy, giving you a one size fits all solution is the exact OPPOSITE of that design language! It wouldn't fix the game. It would fundamentally kill it.
@@thejfj That's fair lol. And it's fair to not like the game for anyone reason you choose, it's not a game for everyone. There isn't a game on the planet that's for everyone. But you can't deny the sheer panic you feel when both of them come after you. Cuz on their own each monster is very easy to deal with except for thumpers. It's that special mix of contradiction that puts that metric shit ton of fear and pure uncensored cortisol into your blood stream. My opinion there's a difference between something that's bad and something you don't like. Because both of the design mechanics of these monsters could have been different, he didn't have to reuse that mechanic. But he did anyway despite 100% having enough creativity to make something else. You can feel the love put into every model, every planet, every mob. So I feel like that special relationship between the coil head and the flower-man was very intentional. The only BS thing in my opinion is LE WORM, but that might because not only does it not playoff in the other mob, but I haven't learned how to beat it yet lol
@@craig2196 While i've yet to play the game, i do personally think that creatures like the bracken and coil-heads should not be found in the early planets, though a "relationship" system where some creatures will not spawn in the same planet (due to one hunting the other etc.) and other creatures have a higher chance to spawn in the same planet with a species they get along with would be cool. When it comes to inventory maybe add an expensive item (each person has to buy their own of course) that increases inventory and weight but if the person using it dies it's dropped like any other item. Another item suggestion would be armor, something that saves you from a few hits given the fact that most creatures can kill you in 2 hits, make it so that it's pricey and that it eventually breaks (though it certainly won't save you from the insta-kill enemies like the bracken or coil-head)
@@crusaderthestranger5982 In my opinion armor should only work with mobs that don't already one shot you. Bunker Spiders, hoarding Bugs, Thumpers. I'm probably missing some. Because again, you can't have a one solution fixes all item. You'd want to make it expensive, imo the same amount as the zap gun (which needs to be made useful but it's still our endgame weapon) so . It protects you from like 25% damage, with 4 hits before it breaks. Because again you have to make sure you're still on your toes around the lower tier enemies, to make sure you respect their presence. It's a buffer, not a shield. Maybe 4 hits is too little, maybe you'd be dead before you even hit 4. I don't know, but it should have a use limit. Which if it doesn't break resets to max when going to a separate run.
@@craig2196 yeah like i said, "make it so that it's pricey and that it eventually breaks" and "though it certainly won't save you from the insta-kill enemies". I think it would make a great dilemma; "do we buy armor that's pricey and eventually breaks or do we just try to avoid getting hit more than once?"
Incyn complaining about only having 30 viewers when he's screaming and blowing out people's speakers... friggin' lol. Easily the worst part of these streams.

His helmet just rolling down the stairs after the Coil revealed himself was some horror movie type shit
