TET France - Section 1 & 5 - Bonneuil les Eaux to Forges les Eaux - Solo - Husqvarna 701

Another great days riding! Made the change from section 01 to section 05, and it's starting to get a little hillier and the countryside has a little more variety to it. Still a lot of farmland, but now the landscape is broken up by much more forestry than before making it more interesting to ride through. Not that there was anything wrong with section 01 before - but some of those unending fields were a bit dull! The biggest challenge of the day was the seemingly unending rain that hit me in the late afternoon - luckily a local couple took pity on me and invited me into their home to warm up! What Garmin are you using? I have a 701 - interested in the Garmin and the mount you use.

@@GrahamGoring I use a Montana 700i - it’s a great gps. It’s mounted on an adventure spec mini fairing. 👍

On sunday afternoon in the north of France , i crossed several long 4x4 quagmires in fatty clay drowned in deep water, my bike was weighed down by the weigth of the mud clinging everywhere , i was dirty scare , i was dead , i had no more water , my camelbag is pierced by a giant acacia brambles , the stores closed , at a gas station i waited a long time and finaly a car arrived ..... with a very pretty young wommen ... she offered me a large bottle of watter.... and apologized because she had already had a few sips ...
