Hi Everyone, I hope you enjoyed today's video! The Honda or another CanAm? You Decide!
Hi Olly, you should buy the honda, i have one and she is sweet and never has let me down
I think you should try the John Deere gator but the honda sems fery simple and relayable and easy to work on and parts ar not too expensive for it cymper to a can am or john dear
Oh and what is the name of that cattle trailer, its seems perfect for me and I’ve spent so long looking for the perfect trailer, please reply and do you think its a good trailer?
John deere 885d gator olly would be some yoke even get it out for demo but its your choice!👍
Honda
If you get the pioneer you should get an enclosed cab so you can stay warm in the winter
Yeah Id go with my Honda any day she is some powerful machine and I’ve only got stuck once in all the time I’ve had her but an inclosed cab is almost
mandatory in our harsh Irish winters where I live
Yep
Oh how I agree
True words spoken here
Do you feel like the p700 is lacking since it only has 3 gears and it doesn't have a low first gear?
Where do you live? I live in Minnesota, just ordered one, and will use it primarily for ice fishing. I’m getting a windshield but am now wondering if the dealer can enclose the whole thing.
I bought my base 2021 pioneer 700 primarily for fair weather trail riding and hunting for two people. I knew from riding with a friends SxS that they get very uncomfortable in the spring/summer from engine heat, so no top or windshield for me. Like you, I found the doors cumbersome and noisy (rattles) so I removed them. So far, it has proven to be a good choice. For pure riding pleasure, I still prefer my Suzuki 700 King Quad with no helmet on unused logging roads.
I wouldn't buy anything without a cab, especially since it's always raining where your at
You’re*
Olly wassup my man I hope your doing well as always I'm gettin me a education rn so I can't watch but I cannot wait to see you drive this beast!
when will ollys tractors/equipment be that clean
you really need an enclosed cab. think this is more of a fun buggy than a farm vehicle.
We call those a,side by side, I think for England I’d want a cab and a bit of a heater.
The tractor brands should invest in a bigger heavy duty UTV, similar to the "Caron Transporter". It would be handy in small farms to tow light trailers.
Hi, Olly We have both a Honda and a CanAm, The honda really good. We have a cab kit on it and I'd recommend getting it if you got the honda. The CanAm has a better bench seat. An advantage with the honda is its got the option of a manual transmission. Our one has both manual and auto which we can switch between. The CanAm is also belt-driven while the honda isn't, which is a huge advantage for the honda. The CanAm is better in the steeper country while the honda is better on the flat. The Honda is also better at crossing rivers etc. The CanAm has more customisation options though. Also, I like how you can open the windscreen on the CanAm, Whereas on the honda you cant. I hope this has helped you. Cheers, Olly!
The can am cost a ton more than the can am do the math
The Honda is the cheapest side by side especially the pioneer 4 your comparing apples to oranges
@@mikesandro8578 The Can Am HD7 Is only a little more expensive than the Honda However I'd take the honda over it. Honda do need to add more accessories though.
Go for it olly honda are great things we have had honda for years and engine never goes wrong a well built reliable machine
Waste of time for serious work. If you buy one I’ll eat my hat!
Can am but the Honda is amazing we have a Honda ricin it is a beast
my Polaris also didnt have a roof and windscreen, makes no sense att all since a big reason is to stay off rain and wind with this machine. Dont worry for full doors, you want easy access, for example when you do fencework.
Hit a huge stump going about 35. front left tire direct hit and only bent the rim. No structural damage to the frame or A arms. Took a hammer to the steel rim and filled the tire with air. Good to go. Honda builds a strong machine. Good thing a had the seat belt on or I would have went right out the front window.
Love your videos! I wish that I lived on a farm...
It's a good machine but you would definitely need an enclosed cab and also I think the canam is a bit better ☺
Just got mine last week for our farm, love it, good machine.😁🇨🇦
Can am will be hard to beat spec wish and value for money. They are pretty reliable too.
Hi 👋 friend great to see you have a Honda buggy they are amazing work horse 🐎 and quick 😀 👍 cool video 📹 friend keep them coming but please stay safe friend 😊
Ur enjoying that Ollie 😆
I prefer the can am but I’ve said it before and I shall say it again - but what is the best value for money and can get the job done in an efficient and correct way whilst being reliable
Good job mate from country NSW, Australia.
Honda all the way. People buy Honda's for a life time. Can am if you want to buy a new one every 2 years. My pioneer 700-2 has 16k trouble free miles only oil changes and air filters not even a wheel Bering replaced in that amount of time
Great review looks alot of fun 😀
I have a Honda quad, Can-Am side by side and a new Yamaha quad. The Yamaha quad beats them hands down now. The Can-Am though is a standout for me in lugging gear around, but cattle work it is crap. You need a quad to do livestock handling. My Honda is the same as your four trax and has done 14,000kms and it has done well, but the new quads decked out with roll bars and cage baskets are hard to top for me. I wouldn't consider a side by side as a substitute for livestock handling to be honest. Only get a side by side for comfort off road jobs like fencing and small material handling. IMO
love the buggy olly what a machine. also what a video that was👍🏼
having one delivered next week.... I only have 7 acres, no farm.... Long driveway, more for plowing and goofin off... Damn directors and their toys.
That yoke is amazing 🤩
You should bought a Polaris ranger diesel
if you do buy the pioneer you can always take a grinder to that bar
Brilliant video Olly, thank you!
Brilliant? How is it brilliant to film a video writing your quad? Wow Einstein's brilliant this is just a cool video
We have always had Honda motorbikes but dis liked the side by side as to tall and very small cab, we looked at a can-am great size and big cab over all a great side by side
Wow that thing looks cool me and my cousins recently got a honda trax 2 dune buggy
Take a shot everytime Olly says “minimalist”
If you want it to be sturdy and do it all get a quad. Brave the weather its not that bad! From a highland farmer :) Also that honda is over 200 pounds heavier than a polaris ranger
Olly I think you should try the John Deere xuv855D utility vehicle. It has a top speed of 52 mph, also the big Deere would have a little brother!!🚜🚜
I'd get a canam if it was me due to the cab. Great video and review of the Honda!
You can have a full cab with glass and a heater as an option
The Can-Am will not be worth anything and won't be reliable. In 10 years only one of those would be running and it won't be the canned Ham
Olly, if you get the full cab on the pioneer then you don’t have those bars in the way
Yes ours doesn’t have that bar in the way
Reversing beeper wouldn’t last long at our farm😂
This thing looks like an absolute hoot.
Farmers are heroes. The way the establishment is relentlessly squeezing (or in some cases outright tyrannising) them is disgusting and only makes me respect farmers even more.
Great vid olly
I bought one 700-4 with full
Cab .
They are really good so fun to drive 👍🏻
They both look ruddy fun, but I would go for the Honda.
Olly you should go for the can-am
Nice video 😁
I can’t see why you would be considering the Honda when you already have the quad bike. As you say yourself it is very exposed to the elements so I would have thought that something more like the Can-am was a much better choice.
Honda quad for me but can am buggy is the best in this type of thing
Gidday Olly, just a point of interest, Honda quadbikes and outboard motors are made in USA.....
Are you going to try out the john deere gator love the vid
Is it road legal? Surely the factory fitted windscreen and roof is available from factory?
Hi if u was you I would want to get a windscreen like the can am because you will miss that option
Are you going to do a test drive of the canam? It’s not a make I’ve heard of where as the Honda is well known and regarded by many people.
Good video olly your best with the cabam stay safe 🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧👩🌾👩🌾🚜🚜😷😷👍👍
Would u ever look at the bobcat tool cat
Honda i like the drive shaft driven.an no belt drive
Nice one Olly
Amazing!
I think the can am is the best for you guys, all the little things on the pioner that you metioned, That takes time, that farmers dont have in a hurry, Can am has a really good reputation for there UTVs, In and out of the machine is important at a farm, it whould hurt to "jump" into the bar at the back there I whould buy a Can am over a Honda in a heartbeat.
Definitely worth the money buying a Honda 👌🏾
Hi olly have you had a look at katota rtv x1100, they look good
If think these are quick. You can borrow my canam x3 rr turbo😂
Why do you not use the Honda fourtrax 500 or is it a 420cc
Honda not be cheap but be good machine 👍
Ali-A John Deere gator I think you should mate
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏

Thank you for sharing
Sounds like you miss the ranger
Kubota ??? Try one of them with a screen heaters and better rear carry space .. not as fast but I'd say better ?
They weigh a ton. Literally
Light aint strong.....
Have a look at some john deere gators
I would go for Honda
The 1000 has got a lot more room inside
It feels quick with no cab that’s why
How would you compare this to a Kawasaki mule? Thanks
Yes. The mule is more of a farm utility machine(more room). The Honda has better ground clearance and better in the trails/mud. These two brands are the most reliable.
Hi olly, just wondering what does the 700cc part mean?
The engine size
This is amazing i like this honda
Defanetly the Honda for a new video can u go to the McDonald’s drive through to see what it’s like on the road please
Just like Mahindra on fs19
Hi olly
CanAm all the way!
I would say can am
Mayby if you choose to buy the honda, you can let that side pice get cut of so je can get in easy. I doesn't look like its important
I Like a Honda 700 deluxe pioneer
I won't a700 deluxe pioneer
Needs a cab Olly, be miserable in the winter
Honda !!
Beast
Canam as it has full cab
The new Polaris ranger (diesel) does 40mph on the road
The can am traxter does 65 mph
Try a Yamaha wolverine
Nice!😉
If you would purchase that honda would that mean you would be selling your quad
Can’t beat a Honda.
You should go with a John Deere gator
John Deere gator be the better all round. Not the lightest but not too heavy. Cabs spacious and good for tall people, the full cab with heater will make you never look back. Not as fast but our one still does 35 mph and it’s diesel. petrol buggy’s seem stupid running back and forth to the petrol station could be wasting valuable time if it’s low on fuel. 👍🏻
I'd go down the Kubota route personally
Get a Polaris ranger
no!!!!
Like it goes well
Something with a cab
Try a John Deere petrol gator
