In another year or two when the other whisky distilleries are built, Campbeltown is going to be alot busier I think, and more people are going to be going there.Campbeltown will increase in size over the next 10-20 year.
My interest in Campbelltown was where my ancestor left Scotland for PEI, Canada aboard the ship Annabella in 1770. The family settled in Moncton, New Brunswick.
@thecabooseattheendofthetra9260 there's many nicer places in Scotland you could visit buddy, Campbeltown is wet and dull and full of nosey people last thing you need on your holidays is people spying on you wanting to know your life story.
But now is the time to be buying houses because over the next couple of year there will be two new whisky distilliries built taking it to five in the area and this will only bring more people and buisness to Campbeltown. The place will be a whisky destination more than it is now. Its git pritty much all that you need from a couple of supermarkets to all other amenities. It is far out,but if you have all you need, then its a great wee place to be. And as I said over the next few year its going to be a lot more busy solely just for whisky and all the people it brings from around the world. Campbeltown has one of the most sought after whiskies in it...Springbank!!
Of course it's a troll. The town is a wee bit tired, but in the age of " out of town shopping", internet, Amazon and Covid, its still a handsome wee town in the summer❤......and the peninsula ([Knapdale and Kyntyre) is God's back garden.......it's utterly gorgeous. ❤
@mountain_del1863 are you for real, most nosey place in the UK. The place is a joke and that's coming from someone that was born here and lived here for over 20 years I think I should know
@@VultureSunset also, "Nosey place"? What does that mean exactly? In a time when you have gangs of Neds roaming the place, drugs, buckfast, ket, MDMH, tranq, knives, young teams.......is Campbelltown really that bad?
I love Campbeltown my favourite place to visit. I miss Southend beach. ❤
