Toddler Magic: Giving a Lesson

Sophia, just turned 2, is giving a lesson to Ella, just before she turned 2. This activity was spontaneous. Sophia knew all of the fruits and vegetables, Ella asked her what one was and the lesson unfolded.
In this interaction Sophia is learning the love of teaching, and she's also solidifying her own knowledge of these names. In addition, she feels like a leader, someone who is respected and appreciated...and she's barely 2!
This process also benefits Ella as she learn from a peer, someone she enjoys spending time with. As she gets a lesson from Sophia, Ella will grow to look for her own opportunities to give lessons. In addition, Ella will understand the names in this work on a more profound level since Sophia adds more spice to the lesson than a teacher would!
