I never thought I would be so excited to try Japan McD's and 7/11, but these two are on my bucket list for my upcoming Japan trip. Everything just looks 100% better quality than here in the States.
Max, every time I watch your videos, I salivate. The way you describe the food makes me want to eat my screen. I will drive to McDonalds now because of this. -Your fan from Chicago
US apple pies used to be deep fried and they were great. But, now, they're like those nasty things that my little sister used to make in her McDonald's apple pie maker toy. Anyone else remember that abomination? The apple pies were sliced white bread, apple sauce and cinnamon sugar. It's hard to believe that McDonald's would think it's a good idea to replace their popular apple pie with something like a child's creation.
I was surprised to see lines at every McDonalds in Tokyo around lunch. But after giving one a try, the food just tastes better. Buns are soft and not stale like they often are in the US, lettuce was crisp and fresh and not wilted or brown. Just an overall better experience, and I will never understand why they have stayed with the inferior baked apple pie here, but everywhere else in the world has the fried pies. Ronald needs to get his domestic shit together.
Agreed!! It's just better here. I stopped going to McDs in the States but started going again ever since I've been in Japan. Thanks for the comment and watching!! Appreciate it.

Just a heads up that deep fried apple pie is also still available at the McDonald’s in Downey California
Hey Max, we have a McTeri burger here in Hawaii that is offered occasionally, but the one you got looks way more appetizing!!! 😊
Guess I need to make a comparison video in Hawaii haha thanks for watching!!
How about a video on fun but healthy food options in Japan? Share the secret how to get those biceps 💪 😅
I’ve thought about some vegan or vegetarian options. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe in a future video!
I swear the States have such subpar food compared to other places in the world.
This is true but the States has the best bbq!! 🤣

Ebi burger is my favorite in Japan…
McDonald's in Hawaii has McTeri Burger and deep fried apple pie.
Then McD in Hawaii is for sure better than the Mainland!
