You should correct the title to "outside of Japan" because with over 1k games released in that region, Segata Sanshirooooooo and the Saturn most definitely did NOT fail lol 🪐
It may have been a "success" in Japan(though almost neck n neck with the N64 as far as Japanese sales were concerned) it still doesn't change the reality the Saturn was a complete failure in the long haul in terms worldwide sales outside of Japan.(I don't even know how the Saturn got over 1k games for considering the Saturn in Japan only sold almost 5.9 million compared to Playstation that sold over 19 million over there)!

The saturn really needed market shares in the west and PAL regions. The surpise NA launch killed any chance.
