Lucky you! Can't wait to get the new mix e of Matchbox cars! I really like the 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility with the new deco! It's a real life police vehicle from the U.S.A. in the state of Pennsylvania.
Hey Tyrone! Great video as always! Monroeville is only a few miles from me (Near Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania, USA). They are sure to be popular here, for those who know. Fun fact: Monroeville is known for "Monroeville Mall" the location of the classic zombie film Dawn of the Dead. Kevin Smith also filmed "Zach and Miri" there. The police station has those Ford Explorer Interceptors and is only a mile or so from the mall.
Thanks, CandC: Fast Lane. And thanks for the info! Always good to know the relationship between car and place. I don’t suppose Perth Western Australia will ever get a mention on a Matchbox car. 😂
It might sound unusual but even me as a female loves watching your videos. Somehow so relaxing. I try to collect only all cars I owned so far in real life as miniature (most of them are Matchbox too)😊
Thanks, Anja. I’m very pleased to have you in my audience. UA-cam tells me that about 15% of my subscribers are female but I wonder how many of this number are fellas that happen to be logged into their wives’ or girlfriends’ account. Collecting a 1/64 version of cars you’ve owned is a cool way to catalogue your personal motoring history. I wish Matchbox would release a Mk III Ford Cortina. It was my first car. 🦘👍
@@buildingtheultimatematchbo257 beautiful car the Mk III FORD cortina. Had to google for it but it looks great. My first one was a Renault 5 🥰 loved it. My current car is the Miata. I like the MX-5 models by matchbox very much. Thanks again for your response and lots of greetings from Germany 🙋🏻♀
I got the Ford 300 Custom and 1957 (same year) Dodge Sweptside Pickup and I love them! Only left to find the F-150 for my collection! :) Great video showing the details of the models - Love the Renault Megane - will probably wait on another colour though...
Thank you for your video!!! I'm still waiting for them to hit here in Eastern Washington. FYI...I found out that we are getting 102 instead of 100 because of 2 holdovers from last year. 1 is a Ford Bronco...on a different card with no number and a casting with no number...why?...only they know, but we are getting 102 (100 with numbers& 2 without). However...here's a kicker...some cards were released with "101" & "102" and they are considered "chases"!!!
Moin from the North Sea... Once again, some pieces that (how could it be otherwise) interests me very much 🙄😁 (1:27/19:11) Toyota MR2 Both versions. Great job as always, sir. Pretty good mix this time around. I'm wondering, how do you know when something is coming out in a variant? Are you doing insider matchbox trading? LOL🤣
I was actually in my local Woolies last week, doing the weekly grocery shopping with the missus, and I saw this case. When I looked through it and found the hazard squad truck, I thought "Hmmm, do I really need this?" so anyway, I put it in the trolley and continued shopping. My wife doesn't share my model firetruck passion, she usually says "Haven't you got enough firetrucks yet ?" when I buy one. So, I ended up putting it back on the shelf. Not worth having a domestic in front of the check-out chick.... I think I made the right decision, after seeing you open it...not that impressive ! Btw, can someone tell me why the mainline boxes always have a glued down flap, instead of the normal one that you can re-use ? So annoying when you want to keep the model in the box. Thanks T 👨🚒(evo)
When I make an SC out of a model in these boxes, I open the box very carefully. After the conversion, I carefully glue the flap again. On one side of the box it"s usually very easy to open the flap. A "trusty butter knife" is very helpful here...🙄🤣 (Shoutout to Perth, T🍻🇦🇺✌🏼)
I got something(s) to get off my chest here First off, At least here in the northern Ohio area you can't always walk into the local Walmart or Target stores and find Matchbox cars in their famous Boxes!.Its been my experience that you would have to go to a local. MEIER Store to find them in their famous Boxes, Back when I was a young dude I didn't care as much about the boxes.I feel different bout that nowadays. But think bout this?.bout 25 percent of the price you pay for a matchbox car is for that box and as I said I feel differently now days So when I see people discarding those Boxes I think That these people who casually throwing their Boxes aside are throwing thir money out
I’m glad you have taken the time to share your thoughts, Mike. I can see how the destruction of perfectly good packaging might seem wasteful. But I do it for two reasons. The first is simply so collectors that love to preserve the packaging (and there are many out there) can see the cars being opened and get a closer look at each one, so their cars can happily remain intact. The second is a lot more personal. It’s how I first experienced Matchbox cars as a kid. Christmas morning was one of the only times I’d get my hands on these treasures and the excitement was always too much to carefully open them so the living room floor would be a mess of wrapping paper and toy packets. It’s a favourite memory of childhood and this is what I try to recreate in my videos. I’m just an adult that never really grew up. 😂 I hope my destructive ways don’t hinder your enjoyment of the channel too much and that you tune in again soon. 🙏👊👍🦘
Great case despite the sea of black cars lol. If MBX decides to quit making the body out of metal as fe the Hazard Squad, they should retire the casting imo.
Lots of things to mention.. I feel so bad the way you destroy the boxes.. Lightning deficient, l can see your hands better, your hair in your arms, the mole on your left arm your wedding ring and not much of the cars...
Got a whole case today! This was my gift and I'm super happy to finally have all these cars in my collection
Good score, Brandon! 👊🍻👍

Some very nice cars in that box..
They've taken the Henry Ford approach, you can have any model you want, just so long as it's black.
They totally have! 😂👍🦘
Watching and taking notes, I'd love to buy a box load 1 day, still watching👀👀👊

Very interesting.
Very nice mix. Good one Tyrone.

All the cars are cool but I think my favourites is the yellow mg and it's good to see they done the headlights unlike the red version 👍👍
