They keep saying it to promote them for advertisement obviously they must have got the parts cheap or even free that's why they keep saying it??give them a break, they having a laugh, is that a crime. If you don't like it then stop watching it, give the fellas a break for fuck sake fucking haters so negative. Like a said dont like, don't watch
What's the type of welder that there using called is it mig or tig?? Answers plz....ps be nice haters, get in my tits nothing nice to say keep it to your self,s I agree with freedom of speech but tell people who give a fuck why watch it if all your going to do is bitch and moan ??, a don't get some folk all negative, life's to short
The best part about this video is when you guys are testing out the kart for the first time. The smiles on your faces are priceless. Heck I wanna build up a go-kart myself now just to have that much fun!
found your channel a few months ago, am booked now. also have me motivated to build a cart for my daughters. retired mechanic, with a shop full of tools and a wire welder, also helps I've owned a small engine shop in the past. keep making vids, guys, it'll be fine....:)
I totally enjoyed your video. I just got done with my grandsons go cart. I put a larger engine in it, replaced two wheels and painted it with a bumble bee paint scheme and installed some seat belts and a roll cage. He is 7, been driving one since he was 3 and he is totally crazy with the thing. He should ride safer now anyways...I am a grandmother pimpin' the boys ride. ha ha
Thank you so much for keeping your videos "clean". My 7 year old and I love watching together. Lift with your legs, don't get distracted by butterflies and keep the great videos coming.
I've been installing my baring bracket wrong this whole time! Probably holds the baring so much tighter too! Been messing with it all morning and came across your video right when I needed it thanks!!!!
I’ve been watching your vids for awhile now. I like how you guys work together and have a great friendship. I especially like the old vids where John is a chubby little skater dude and Isaac has the groovy undercut mullet!! Nice watching you guys grow up and maturing to where you are now.. keep up the awesome work gents, the skies the limit.
I remember when this video came out when I was 12, wanting to build a go kart so bad. Here we are years later and I finally got a manco dingo 286 and I’m happy I’m back watching this video re learning how to put go karts together
I bet he could do one hell of a Hank from King of the hill impression. Im patiently waiting on propane references throughout the video. This may very well be my new favorite youtube channel.
+CarsandCameras thank you so much! You guys have no clue what you have done for me! I have a go kart similar (exact model just was a pile of crap before I put some work into it) and I plan on doing this! Is there a kit that has disc brakes? Thank you so much though!
I never thought about go carts but because u guys seems like great people I will be starting to buy and look for a go cart frame than buy a predator 212 and the rest of the supplies as well thanks guys !!
I've only just recently stumbled on your channel as a recommended video but immediately got the feeling you're the type of laid-back guys that it'd be fun to just sit in lawn chairs with some cold beers and shoot the shit for an afternoon. The lawn chairs would probably be attached to a kart, of course.
They both have the same top speed, but the live axle can get up to that speed quicker because it has twice as many wheels being driven, giving it twice as much traction, allowing it to pull twice as hard before it starts spinning tires.
Hi, I think it sound stupid but is it possible to build a go kart without experience with engines? It is my dream to build one myself, when I was 6 years old I went everyday to a go kart racing track. Now I'm 15 and don't want to dream about it anymore...I'll build my own one.
+Jason-Duke Prygodda hey dude I'm 15 too and I built my go kart a week ago and I only spent 100$ on an engine and got the frame form my friend, I say go for it. p.s. look for a frame at yard sales, I just got a new frame yesterday for 30$
I think the word he was looking for was “ amputated “ , anyway who else loves binge watching cars and cameras at 2 am ? lol great show guys I can’t believe this was 7 years ago already 😢
Alright, that does it. I have got to get my old go kart out of storage. Been sitting on a shelf in the shed at my parents house since the 90's. Mine is a two seater with a live axle and a 5hp B&S. The engine and driver are both on the left so it turns left great but flips easy on hard right turns.
Finally brought my old go-kart home to Winterville last weekend. Surprisingly the old tires and tubes will still hold air. Couldn't remember what brand my kart was but the sticker with the model and serial number was still under the seat. It was made by KARTCO Inc. Time to terrorize the neighborhood.
LOL- OMG! NEVER EVER weld with the ground going THRU the bearings....... you can make little pits in the balls and the races by what you did in your video....... you have your ground clamp on the bearing outer housing, and youre welding the FRAME of the go kart..... ground should be on the frame!!!! We'll see how long them bearings last now?
+Eclidean we were not welding threw the bearings we were near them though. if i did then oopps. welding threw the bearing can cause pitting. hopefully it'll be fine
Isaac Jennette I know that you can answer this for me. What size sprocket and what size clutch do you need to pull a overweight adult on a kart with a 5.5 Briggs. What I have now definitely is not what I Need because it hardly pulls me from a dead stop. Thanks for your help.
yea its pretty cool. Next you guys should make a drift trike or go kart with a duromax engine on it! Those things have like 20 ft/lbs of torque and i think 15hp!
You guys need a stick mount that clamps onto the go carts to hook up your camera for a view of the driver/past the driver. No need to risk your heads for the cool angles.
Ike’s hair is cracking me up. And John’s so young. These old vids are funny. I’m still trying to figure out what a 41 chain is. LOL 😆 And wore it out too.
Thank-you for this video! It is something I have always dreamed of doing, but have never done. I am curious: Would it have been possible to center the engine in the middle, for better side-to-side weight distribution? I would really love to see this done using a dirt bike engine. For me, the most interesting part of that would be seeing how you would engineer the the gear shift linkage for the manual transmission.
I wonder if they got the live axle stuff from go power sports
They did
Heg
I could only wonder
They keep saying it to promote them for advertisement obviously they must have got the parts cheap or even free that's why they keep saying it??give them a break, they having a laugh, is that a crime. I bet he could do one hell of a Hank from King of the hill impression. Im patiently waiting on propane references throughout the video. This may very well be my new favorite youtube channel.
Man i love coming back to the OG vids
So when can I order my "IT'LL BE FINE!" T-Shirt? Lol good stuff!
+chuckiep268 Check out our Facebook page... They'll be available later this week (hopefully)!
+CarsandCameras thank you so much! You guys have no clue what you have done for me! I have a go kart similar (exact model just was a pile of crap before I put some work into it) and I plan on doing this! Is there a kit that has disc brakes? Thank you so much though!
Dominic Gordon Yes there's a disc brake kit. We installed it yesterday. There should be a link in the description to it in this video.
+CarsandCameras ok thanks!
+CarsandCameras whats the name of your saw
The Monopoly money was “ priceless “ !!!!!
Go power sports rocks
Rex4x4 YEAHHHHHHH

I never thought about go carts but because u guys seems like great people I will be starting to buy and look for a go cart frame than buy a predator 212 and the rest of the supplies as well thanks guys !!
I find pillows blocks to be easier to work and install.
You guys are 2 grown up kids that's AWESOME
+208miuwu thank you
100k Subs, Ike gets a haircut!!
+KillerCamPlays ok if not sooner
Rewarching this, I realize I have the exact same brake from my old kart I learned on, Kudos!
what keeps axle from moving side to side? is it the axle bearing holders or is there a collar that bolts on?
Casey Perry the black bolt on collars that they put on hold it in place
That was fun to watch times like that are precious .
I'm crying from laughing at Ike's test run
You guys can be fun as hell at times....Two little boys at play. Oh yes can I join you.
Yall better start crankin out some vids, fast. You guys are growing fast, soon you'll have 100k
+TheKaziCo We're doing the best we can captain. We both have very busy lives outside of this!
+CarsandCameras looks like y'all going have to go part time to feed our hunger
CarsandCameras- It'll be fine. such a great phrase :)

🤣
I've only just recently stumbled on your channel as a recommended video but immediately got the feeling you're the type of laid-back guys that it'd be fun to just sit in lawn chairs with some cold beers and shoot the shit for an afternoon.
The lawn chairs would probably be attached to a kart, of course.
Soothing to know if your tire popped you'd be "driving"'on your gear
"It'll be fine" should be your channel motto.
Ron Crandall I think you got your wish!!
420 blaze it breh
been watching your videos over week now! looking forward to what you guys will do next!
is that a mx5 in the back of the Frame on the last bit
+Liam Catlan Yeah, that's the project the new Predator is going in.
Liam Catlan No, it's a 2JZ LS9 swapped S2K
for doing DIY, would using a few pillow block bearings and a 3/4'' - 1'' axle work
Which is faster? A one wheel drive or live axel (2 wheel drive)
Live axel
The live axel can deliver more power to the ground.
One wheel drive wastes energy and eats your tire up.
They both have the same top speed, but the live axle can get up to that speed quicker because it has twice as many wheels being driven, giving it twice as much traction, allowing it to pull twice as hard before it starts spinning tires.
Nathan Antilla that's a mouthful lol
watching your videos taught me to build go a go cart
Hi,
I think it sound stupid but is it possible to build a go kart without experience with engines?
It is my dream to build one myself, when I was 6 years old I went everyday to a go kart racing track.
Now I'm 15 and don't want to dream about it anymore...I'll build my own one.
Sounds*
Or do you sell one of your karts? :)
+Jason-Duke Prygodda go for it
+Jason-Duke Prygodda hey dude I'm 15 too and I built my go kart a week ago and I only spent 100$ on an engine and got the frame form my friend, I say go for it.
p.s. look for a frame at yard sales, I just got a new frame yesterday for 30$
sweet
@CarsandCameras i love that yall are relatively close
Make a twin engined kart
That go-kart, when it's done, will make me dank.
new challenge make a big block 600 something hp twin charged chevy with nitrous go kart
.
Thanks in a million. Great content. Awesome. Grade: A++💥
So much 420 in this video. So much blazing.
smoke tires everyday
I think the word he was looking for was “ amputated “ , anyway who else loves binge watching cars and cameras at 2 am ? lol great show guys I can’t believe this was 7 years ago already 😢
420 CHAIN
I love the overall look of the kart. The front bumper is a nice touch, i might try to weld one on a yard kart of mine.
You'd be better off buying a live axle go kart from Craigslist
Alright, that does it. I have got to get my old go kart out of storage. Been sitting on a shelf in the shed at my parents house since the 90's. Mine is a two seater with a live axle and a 5hp B&S. The engine and driver are both on the left so it turns left great but flips easy on hard right turns.
+JeepCollector91 thats what mine would do
Finally brought my old go-kart home to Winterville last weekend. Surprisingly the old tires and tubes will still hold air. Couldn't remember what brand my kart was but the sticker with the model and serial number was still under the seat. It was made by KARTCO Inc.
Time to terrorize the neighborhood.
it,ll be fine
it went from Gokart to Gopart
Lol
I love the black cat right behind you
gps is too expensive... bmi carts for me lol
Same
Loved the 572 reference
haha i put a 6.5 212 cc on my 1952 taco bike and took the gov off of it now that shit pushes ha and pops wheelies
Hahaha I recently got a mini bike and did the same thing! It really gets up and goes now!
Ha sick
Tyler Tarlton how you take the gov off?
its a lot of work u have to do
Ike is that a mullet lol. it's funny to watch the older videos and see how much you guy's have changed and not changed
Where exactly are you getting this information? I weld around bearings everyday at my work
+Eclidean we were not welding threw the bearings we were near them though. if i did then oopps. welding threw the bearing can cause pitting. hopefully it'll be fine
+Isaac Jennette It'll be fine.
Incorrect. Unless you had a bad ground connection and it arced across the bearing, there is no way you would get arc strikes
Isaac Jennette I know that you can answer this for me. What size sprocket and what size clutch do you need to pull a overweight adult on a kart with a 5.5 Briggs. What I have now definitely is not what I Need because it hardly pulls me from a dead stop. Thanks for your help.
Fun to see you guys having a blast on that thing!
"$50 Go Kart" (+$250 rear axle and god knows how much everything else is)
+DarkSharkssm EDIT: $300 rear axle + $177 Engine + $50 go kart body = -_-
+DarkSharkssm 99 dollar engine. lol
oh on ebay they are like $120 plus the chain and clutch equating to $177.
thats not bad.
yea its pretty cool. Next you guys should make a drift trike or go kart with a duromax engine on it! Those things have like 20 ft/lbs of torque and i think 15hp!
Haha I’m digging checking out the older episodes “man...they didn’t want that thing coming off”
FIRST COMMENT!!!!!!!
Every time I see that nice corvette in the back. I'm just jealous
You guys need a stick mount that clamps onto the go carts to hook up your camera for a view of the driver/past the driver. No need to risk your heads for the cool angles.
You guys rock! You are doing the things that I have always wanted to do! I hope someday I can do this with my son
I have just been having a Google and IF Amazon had any in stock a Predator 212 would be $600 PLUS tax. You boys got it made.
Ik it’s a old vid but can we talk about how good his impression was of him when he was making fun xD
2020 and this video is still helping
Also when ordering your straight axle kit make sure you get a proper length on your axle shaft so it's not too long or short
So funny lol "Ahhhh" the whole time riding 😂
Lot of fun on the go-cart
Thank You and GoPowerSports!!! I will now be able to do a live axle swap on my 212cc GoKart 😀😀😀😀😀
How do you not have a million subs y'all's channels rocks
Ike’s hair is cracking me up. And John’s so young. These old vids are funny. I’m still trying to figure out what a 41 chain is. LOL 😆 And wore it out too.
lol I love the way you guys say "It'll be fine" when you're not sure about something. lol
Let's talk about that MULLET!!! Absolutely freakin fantastic if i have to say so myself
when Ike screamed meow I died
28:05 THAT!... THAT is the face of happiness.
I've heard the phrase "It'll be fine" so many times in the space of a half hour. The words have lost all meaning. I love this channel!
Yes, you can put the engine in the center, you'll just center up the sprocket along the axle.
U must have some cool ass neighbors with all that ruckus
Every time I see that corvette in the back i am jealous
The selfie stick action great
You guys are crazy. Keep up the goo d work
you guys should all pool in together and get a entry level plasma cutter. it would make fabrication so much easier
Should do a vid on all the parts of a go kart and what all of them do and what clean and do maintenance on them
Suggest you guys set up a sturdy table to do these smallish jobs...my new steel table is the best thing alongside of my frame jig!
I realize it is a small cart, but a couple of gussets on the axle mount plates would have been nice to see.
+Skwisgar2322 not in the vid but yes we have. in a future vid im shure
ahh, fair enough.
is there any plans for the chassis of the kart?
HAHAHA johns Ike impression is spot on xD
