@@RockonRain22 I honestly don’t think anything was cringe about the roast. IT IS A ROAST, it’s meant to be uncomfortable and embarrassing. It’s almost like everyone that is being sensitive, never watched the OG roast specials on Comedy Central. And as for the kids, they will survive and move on like everyone else does n the world.

Brady clearly knew they were going to attack Gisele, he even wanted that; he had every intention of showcasing her since he felt betrayed. If he wouldn't want it, he would've stopped it just like the massage joke. However, now he realizes he's being criticized for it, so he has to come out and say he didn't like it. The same thing happened to Kraft with the dynasty series: he made it to destroy Belichick, but upon realizing he was criticized, he had to come out and say he didn't like that they didn't put positive things in it.

Heck for all we know, Brady’s financial Advisor might’ve introduced the offer to him and encouraged him to do it. He got the Broadcast Booth job. We all know these two are aiming for the opportunity to be in the booth. They have been working very hard and waiting for it at NBC, but NBC gave it to Mike Tirico who is going to be there for a long time. And NBC continues to keep the other guy whom they tried to replace with Drew Brees, then Dungy. So NBC is basically telling Simms he won't ever get the opportunity as the color analyst. And with Mike Tirico who is still young and from what we know health, Florio would never get the chance either.
And Brady got his job without doing anything first (as an analyst like other former athletes had to do before getting the job in the booth). And he is getting paid over 3 times the best guy in the business currently get. Peyton Manning demanded the Networks that tried to woo him to the Booth to pay him at least $10 million a year (7 years ago) and none of them agreed. Troy Aikman wanted Fox to renew his contract and pay him similar to what Romo got with CBS, which is over $10 million and Fox kicked him out of the curb.
To these two, Brady is not worthy of such preferential treatment. On top of that, Brady is going to be minority owner of an NFL team. Alot of former NFL players want to buy a piece of an NFL team but got nowhere. But they don't realize that Brady had been laying the groundwork from the moment he set his foot in the NFL. Brady is rubbing shoulders with Billionaires all over the world. He is friends with Billionaires and extremely rich multi-millionaires. He is friend with A-List Celebrities and Athletes around the world. That is all because he didn't try to pretend to be like the average Joe like Peyton Manning. So unlike Peyton, Brady associate with mostly people who are the top 1 percent of the top 1 percent.

Roasts routinely cross the line, draw a new line then cross it again. Some of it is funny most of it is straight up mean in the “it’s only a joke” type of way when someone jokes about some tragedy or super personal thing
I watched the Brady's roast twice and I hardly think any of those jokes were mean spirited. Some of them were clever jokes and funny. Most jokes were funny. Everyone is a victim nowaday. Everyone takes themselves so seriously that they just can't laugh at anything anymore, let alone themselves.

neither of these two understand the concept of a Roast. I watched it and I can't remember 98% of it. It's entertainment and now a week later, I don't give a crap. I laffed, I cried, I moved on.

They are upset that they still nowhere near the booth and Tom Brady got the best booth job in the NFL calling for Fox Sports. Not only Brady got the job, he got it before he retires, he can starts whenever he likes, and makes more than 3 times the next guy. Troy Aikman had been calling games for Fox for the longest time and was great. He wanted over $10 million and Fox kicked him to the curb. Then Fox offered Brady $37.5 million per year to take over and also kick Greg Olsen who filled in nicely for Troy Aikman.
Florio and Simms want to be in the booth to call games for the NFL for NBC or whomever. But no one is giving them the opportunity yet. They would still have to wait a long long time. They might never get the opportunity.
They seem to hate the Roast because the Roast is the hottest thing right now. It is being talk by everyone even nearly a week after it is done and most if not all is positive about the roast. The only negative is from Florio and Simms. Otherwise, everyone loves it.
Brady fan, but I agree. Kids were off limits, but they weren't, if you went after moms. If one of Brady's motivations was to have others do his dirty work and trash G, then it makes it worse. What if he planned to trash G and also planned to apologize afterwards, pretending to inexplicably surprised? BB kept him in check, but in a good way. No other Pat became a celebrity and they all seem grounded. Brady does not.

I’ve worked in the corporate environment for 40 years and the number of retired executives that come back after retirement because they simply cannot function outside of that environment is staggering. So Florio and Simms are admitting that they are very jealous of Brady. They dislike the fact that they have been working so hard and still can't get into the Booth to call games for the NFL. And Tom Brady just got the job on Fox even before he retired from Football.
If Brady and Netflix really are trying to bring back the Roast, they will be able to get top tier Celebrities and Athletes to do it. Despite what these people are saying, Brady actually came off a winner and more likeable. The only person who looked bad was Giselle and that is the reason why she used the kids to threaten Brady. She is telling him that those jokes about her make her kids look bad because their friends are going to make fun of them. But if you are Tom Brady's children, who would make fun of you? There must be a NDA in their divorce because Giselle through the source seemed to imply that Brady might have broken their divorce agreement with the Roast. But it was Brady who made those jokes. The comedians made those jokes base on public records. So how can you fault Brady for it?
