Welcome to another Coach Tabby video....the Tabby 40! This was the birthday gift I bought myself, having coveted this vintage style for so long! Prior to purchasing, I waited a week to think on it. It's been one of the best bag purchases I've made this year!
Today I'm sharing what I keep inside of it, and also my pros and cons thus far in carrying it!

I saw the jellies first, and that’s when I got on the deep dive of the Coach site! I saw this and just could not stop thinking about it! I feel like it wasn’t promoted as much as the other tabby bags in the new collection, but it’s such a good bag!!
Just actually got word that the jelly is in from repairs, and I’m going to pick it up tomorrow! Really hoping it’s fixed for good 🤞

This is the best review I have seen on this bag! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! Very detailed. The very reasons you listed as cons, were my same issues I had as well! I know the weight of the bag is subjective. But for me, the weight was a serious issue I could not overlook. You put a lot of stuff into your bag. Obviously this is not a problem for you. The bag I purchased was awesome! And it was perfect! I didn’t want to let it go. But my shoulder couldn’t handle the weight. And the bag was empty. I’m hoping the brown tabby 40 will be back on the USA website. I’m hopeful that will work out. I love a good messenger bag. Have you considered having a top handle put on it? Go to a leather shop, they can add one.

Thank you!! I feel like it’s one of the best bags out of the new tabby line, and it just hasn’t gotten it’s rightful spotlight! It’s probably one of my favorites that Coach has put out for a long time - it’s so stylish but so practical!

@@GirlinPursesuit at the moment I'm still at 0 bags and SLGs (if not counting the bag I bought as a present to my friend). Not doing as well at the clothing front - but I do need new clothes every now and then!

I’ve done no spend months but never a year - you’ll have to get yourself something nice come 2024 😊 clothes definitely are a must especially depending on if an occasion arises, you know?! I do try to thrift all of my clothing, but I buy new bags. I’ll thrift them too, but the bags are my splurge!

You should try Minooy! It’s a Chinese brand but their leather is good and they have POCKETS galore. They came out with a new “Naya” crossbody that is a biggie smalls bag.
I’m definitely going to check them out!! That’s the same brand that made the black leather bucket bag you have, right?! Also, link for the pouches in the description now (I edited it to add it 😊)
I love a good messenger bag! Thai Coach tabby messenger is beautiful! I almost bought the smaller version but I’m waiting to see more reviews. This straps look like they would be a con for me, they seem to get on the way cuz they don’t fall as nice since they are permanently attached. Do you find that to be an issue for you at all?
Thank you!! I can completely understand your issue with the strap - I can’t say that it bothers me; however, I could see where it bothers some. I think because the leather is more malleable, it is easier to move out of the way. I’ve had messengers in the past that the leather was stiffer, and I felt like that made the attached straps more in the way. If you decide to get one, would love to know your thoughts on the strap!
Ooo love this review. Does the leather have a sheen to it? Have you found that it's developing a slight slouch to it as you carry on wearing it?
Thank you!! No sheen, I think it might just have been the lighting in the video! Great question regarding the slouch, and I wish I’d have touched on that now that you ask! Yes! I feel like this bag has relaxed a little since my purchase of it, and I love it more for that fact!
