The Importance Of Electrical Testing Repaired Appliances

In this video i talk about a issue i have come across when repairing a a Tower T17021 air fryer. This was delivered to me as part of a lifecycle project repairing customer returns and putting them back into service. This machine was a brand new customer return that wouldnt heat. Apon inspection i found the live wire was disconnected from the heating element. i tested the element all good and reconnected apon a electrial safety test or (PAT test) we were getting insulation ressitance failure. so breaking it down found the issue to be the heating element. replaced with a good one tested all good.
air fryer are becoming more popular due to there low energy consumption. so we have decided to offer a repair service for them. some of them aregreat to work on others not so much but this tower one is great to work on.
