The big issue with branding is that everyone is currently trying to replicate the same style of title and thumbnail without making it unique or changing anything, instead trying to capitalize off of the SunnyV2 meta and hoping things will work out. Obviously right now using that type of branding is good for pulling in viewers looking for new content, but in the long term many of the upcoming documentary channels will ultimately lose their audience unless they adapt from and build off of what they already have...
Sunny's dream mask video seemed like an opinion piece rather than an informative docutainment video. And that's the scary part; if you make informative content that is well-researched, then you build credibility with your audience, which would carry over to a more opinionated video like that and all of a sudden millions of people have a different viewpoint on a controversial topic.
