wow that stick trick at 1:59 is really cool that guy must be super talented
Lol. I see what you did there 🥁 thanks for the beats!
bro I was not prepared for that
holy smokes kyle
He looks just like you
@@Moosepants12all Asians look the same, probably someone else.
Kyle can you please drop tutorial on how you did it
Cross-stick grooves are basically marching percussion ASMR.
2015 has my absolute fav Bloo Crossticking Features to date! 💪😎
Love these grooves! I think Rennick does these also.
They definitely both have a great sense of groove, I’ll have to look at more Rennick lines to find cross sticks, I don’t remember seeing a ton of those in his books but I do remember seeing them
@@nicolasibanez3191SCV 14 has a nice little one in the drum feature. That's the only one I can think of from him off the top of my head, though
There’s super brief ones in ‘18 and ‘19 as well I think
There needs to be more videos in this genre
More Tom Rarick appreciation vids
Why does this video make me feel like a tribal king being impressed by a neighbouring tribe for the sake of alliance
2009 tuning was so nice
I liked it when they played that one cross stick part
2015 is my favorite 😋
1:00 ryan ellis is my favourite
Two words: Awesome
crispy
2011 drumline missed out on the cross stick action that season, I guess 😢
2017 was a banger
All of them pack a mean cadence.......🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
im biased bc i learned these parts of 2022 but i like 2022 the best. 2019 has my 2nd place also bc it was hard for me to learn lol
my favorite is 22
would also be curious to see this with scv
There’s a reason his writing is my favorite
Correct
13 and 16 my fave
For the algorithm. ✊
🔥🔥🔥
You missed a cross stick feature. It was the opener of 2010.
Dang you right!! Half the snares do it with brush!!
Two Words
2015 the GOAT
“Cross Stick” 🎉
If the shell color of the percussion drum is different every year, does that mean you are replacing it with a new instrument every year?
Or does the manufacturer provide it for free when it comes to top coats?
For the algorithm 💪
Kyle spotted
Sad because no transcription🥺
what about 2008?
Tom Rarick/Mike Jackson books (i thought it was just Tom Rarick at first lol)
Uncertain who wrote the books before ‘09
@@nicolasibanez3191 McIntosh. All good lol they had a short thing in 2008 with the quads.
Did Tom Rarick wrote for coats in 2009~2013?
Yes! He arranged for the front ensemble 2002-2008, and then became the full percussion composer in 2009
@@nicolasibanez3191
I thought Mike Jackson wrote battery music for Bluecoats in 2009~2013.
Ooo yeah that’s interesting. I think Mike Jackson maybe either co-wrote or taught there during that time. From what I could find, Jackson’s bios list Bluecoats in the places he’s taught/designed/composed for, so it could be any one of those roles he did at Bluecoats. Tom Rarick’s bios specify him as the percussion arranger/composer. I may need to do a bit more digging on that
@@nicolasibanez3191Mike Jackson did the battery booms until 2013 right up until he went to blue knights
I see. Whoopsie. I said that with such confidence too lol
