      This is for the beginner. You tell a 5 year old to go to second base he literally runs to 2nd base

    This is definitely one of the best position specific videos I have watched! What age do you recommend to start teaching this stuff to, particularly the footwork and various position depth type things. I coach 7-8 coach-pitch

    • @YRAYearRoundAthlete
      @YRAYearRoundAthlete  5 років тому +4

      1st off thank you for the kind words and watching our videos. I believe you can teach the basic foot work at all levels and skill sets. Fielding is fielding no matter the position. The only difference is movement in transition and direction. Get your team to watch these infield videos and practice routes and footwork with a ball in front of them. Thank you again.

    That's some of the worst tips of playing 2nd base I have ever seen.
    You most of been a pitcher in what ever league you most have played.
    Your other video on how to tag a runner stealing 2nd base, was horrible. Nobody teach to sweep the base to tag someone.
    Have ever heard of the "V" tag????
    Stop teaching.

    • @YRAYearRoundAthlete
      @YRAYearRoundAthlete  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for your reply. This video is for the kid who has never played. Or just learning. As far as the tag get it on him get out . I played this game at highest level and there are many ways to tag runners. Just trying to keep the young ones away from injury.
