ANOVA stands for Analysis of Variance, which is a statistical method used to analyze the differences between two or more groups. Here are some keywords related to ANOVA:
Variance: ANOVA is based on the variance in the data, which is a measure of how spread out the values are.
Null hypothesis: ANOVA is used to test the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference between the means of two or more groups.
F-statistic: ANOVA calculates an F-statistic, which is the ratio of the between-group variance to the within-group variance.
Degrees of freedom: ANOVA uses degrees of freedom to calculate the F-statistic. There are two types of degrees of freedom: numerator degrees of freedom and denominator degrees of freedom.
One-way ANOVA: This is used when there is only one independent variable (factor) that is being tested.
Two-way ANOVA: This is used when there are two independent variables (factors) being tested, and their interaction is also of interest.
