Dispointed you replied to this. I know you are just supporting the project and the work they did while trying to comfort them by only commenting about the project while they are getting backlash. I am glad you felt the need to support another maker .... But by commenting and not addressing the problem inherent in this videos choice of sponsorship, it comes off as you supporting that choice.
It's awesome to see you support your fellow maker. This was an amazing project video and comments aside, I hope Bob and the team are super proud of what they made. It turned out beautifully.
I've been rewatching the Mandalorian and currently on the book of Boba Fett. There is a scene in BoBF where Fett makes his own Gaderffii with the tusken raiders. They show a surprising amount of detail, would be really cool to see Bob follow along and make one using (as closely as feasible) the same techniques.
When painting metallics, should prime black underneath, preferably a satin or gloss. You can get transparent resins to be transparent by coating them in wet resin or UV resin afterwards and UV curing. This brings back the transparency usually.
We would hope that our reputation of respect and message of creative inclusion has been consistent over the years and that has not changed. We don’t condone hate speech or derogatory comments toward anyone, period. Like always, we just wanted to make a cool thing.
Thank you for addressing this. I am still disappointed you didn't consider this reaction when you made your choice of sponsor. I wish there was a way that you could still use the work you did here to support yourself without supporting the game. I know personally I would prefer if you took the video down and did not continue to advertise for the game now that you are informed on the issues.
Don't worry supporting someone who has an opinion isn't hate, or supporting hate. People just like to create drama, keep on with your business and let the trolls keep on trolling, let the wokists go back to sleep (they have to at some point right?), and don't let people who think that their opinion is the only valid opinion be your defining trait. The entire time I've followed your channel, everything has been drama free, discrimination free, and you making this item does NOT nullify any of those points..... Or make you someone who forces your views down everyones throats.
I love these kinds of videos because they show just how many skills and mediums makers have at their disposal to create things. Modelling (great work btw Josh), fabric, 3D printing, electronics, vinyl, airbrushing, etc. Turned out really great!

I really enjoy bob’s work. While I don’t like what JKR has done, I think bob reserves the right to make a project without controversy being brought in to his project, and a sponsor of his choice. Bob, I really liked the project.
Yes ... He absolutely does have every right to do the project. And those who don't like it, for whatever reason they have, are absolutely justified to use the dislike button ( which is literally meant to show how someone reacts to a given video ) and furthermore to unsubscribe if they think it's warranted. Because I didn't see the few folks in the comments asking others to unsub ... Only they themself decided to take such measure which again ... is absolutely within their right. No channel is owed an audience.
