I need to try this again. I installed the EUM quite a while back and got it running. I think it was the 1.2 version of AA. I was able to run around but overall the game was really broken. I don't recall there being any NPCs in the game. I could put down a house and built it with no materials and no taxes. I was unable to engage the house (open doors, etc). I don't recall there being anything to kill either. I spawned a ship but the physics didn't work right. I did find a new source of game data that appears to include newer versions -- maybe. Maybe I'll give this a try again. It would be cool if you'd make a longer and more detailed version of this video including the successful launch of the game. Guess it is time to dust off Virtual Box.
hi bro! I completely built the server and completed the connection through the launcher. However, when I click the "Connect" button in the game server selection list, the game screen shuts down and "disconnected" appears in the cmd. What is the problem and how can I play the game? I'll be waiting for your answer bro
I cannot get version 3.5 to work. There is a database error. It is trying to write something to the user/accounts table (whatever it is called in aaemu_login. I expanded the column size to 1000 and saw its writing something like xml. Maybe someone knows why this is happening. I tried 2.0 as well. Same problem. I did get 1.2 to work.
I'm curious if you were able actually get in the game. I've tried two different setups of version 3 and the game disconnects as soon as I try getting into the server. I get a Packet Marshaler error "Looks like we got a double count my guy" No idea what that means. I cannot find a solution for it anywhere.
It took a whole bunch of tinkering and I ended up having to Frankenstein a few different art private server projects together to get me into the game but even then what's the functionality of broken what's the request or broken and it was a pretty bad experience all around
@@zelnetproductions 1.2 is pretty useable. There are some issues where it seems to be a bit of a mix of two different old versions. But overall it seems playable. Though the game crashed hard trying to get into Sandeep and I ended up having to manually reset my player coordinates so I could get back into the game.
