I saw the two dogs at La Cabane about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I'm surprised to see there were there for so long (only just saw your video which was posted almost 4 months ago) with so many dog lovers on the island. I will check tomorrow and see if they are still there though I doubt it.
And yes rum punch sneaks up on you :-D
Nice vid. A technical question....Do you shoot with auto ISO? Your exposure is real clean going from outdoors to indoors
St. Lawrence Gap is lovely but don't underestimate the sun. I was sun creamed up, under a brolly & still got burnt. Amazing island, food is delicious, great vibes. Your hotel looks amazing, We got the mini van buses everywhere. I mean wow.
Your watches are cold, such a if you know you know vibe 🔥
The waters out there are unpredictable, so you don't find most locals or tourists who are familiar with the island swimming over there.
All beaches are free to everyone, but I don't recommend swimming over there unless you are a good swimmer.

We are thinking of taking our first trip to Barbados. We are a couple with no kids like to relax on the beach all day, have a nice room at a nice resort with a balcony, would like to go for a good hour walk a couple times a day on the beach. A few days out of our stay we would like to go shopping and do some excursions. We like the thoughts of having different restaurants to pick from every night, where would people suggest we stay? Thank you.

The beaches on the east side are far less busy…. Yes … but as most have pointed out, all beaches in Barbados are public…

@@ahp1088he's not a brokie, it's true that by law, no beaches are private and all must be publicly accessible. The beach at Sam Lord's Castle has never been super crowded, but I guarantee anyone could get there if there wanted.
@@TGE as you may know the public accessibility on to some beaches are a sore subject. Some hotels and home owners are doing their upmost to stop people getting on the beach’s. Loved the content, I miss Barbados a lot.

Really enjoyed seeing Sam Lords again. My wife and I stayed there in April 2000 and got married on the south coast beach at St James. Looking to go back for out silver wedding anniversary. The only familiar thing was the beach and the castle itself although it had a roof when I was there, in fact we sat on the veranda with the wedding planner. Good times! Thanks again.

I live in Portsmouth in the UK so these videos for us UK guys appeal alot. Barbados is absolutely beautiful. That resort is a great place. A place of relaxation, detox. Just a place to unwind. Its Just so serene and peaceful. A great place, great hot weather, great people, great food. I definitely have to put Barbados as a holiday destination particularly after this video. Thank you for this Tom and Ianthe.

well done on taking time to feed the dogs we stayed near them just come back . not a fan of the all inclusive. but it suits some people so do get it.

We love the consistent hot weather, even when it's raining it's not cold. So a great place to go for UK holiday makers if you want to escape the cold winter!

Wyndham looks mental! I used to stay at Sam Lords hotel that was there before in the 90s. Used to check in in the castle I think. Good island review too. Especially the race horses. 😉

You say that but you can spend £100k a week there or not much more than Europe if you’re smart. Airbnb, self cater and flight deals it’s not so bad at all.
in all honesty I dont think this was an advert for a posh holiday hotel, it literally says in the title “what we really did in……..” because if that is your look on things why watch a youtuber with ferraris and porsches most of us could only dream of? just my opinion thats all 👍🏼
