      Respectfully, it’s not all parenting. It can be the coach’s, other players, social media, older players that the kids want to be like. Its not always the parents. And I’m 47, this stuff was going on more then 30 years ago.. it’s all just been glamorized now by social media and not enough strong people wanting to teach these kids respect.

    And it hasn't stopped at all, my younger Son in in Jr.high and this stuff goes on in the games as well...sometimes the Refs can't keep the game under control with the trash talking.

    Ok as a parent, I promise you children don’t just end up like that naturally, every one of those kids learned that behavior from their parents or parent…you can argue it’s from the tv, or social media but who put the tv on? Who put the device in their hands? I guarantee you each of those kids parents is just as ignorant and disrespectful as they are turning out to be…when I was a kid (I’m 33) did we want to win?? Heck yeah we did, but did our parents, coaches and mentors teach us to not only play the game but to respect and love the game as well? Even a more resounding yes..why have these children been pushed to win and lose without grace you might ask? Well the answer is a pretty common one, MONEY, the idea that you can mold your child into an athlete with the potential to be “rich and famous” is the main driving factor, not physical fitness or genuine competition..we are so far gone as a society and people that instead of teaching a child (who will listen to anything you tell them) that you play these games to learn teamwork, grit, determination, discipline, sportsmanship etc. you teach them to do things like this video…why not dedicate that much time and “brainwashing” into something like idk, here’s how you grow your own food, here’s how you plow a field, here’s how you build a house, here’s how you take care of your community etc,

    • @braxtonrosato1991

      It's an old street ball move called "off the heezy." Some kid pulled this on me in middle school and hit me square in the nose (you're supposed to gently touch pass it off someones forehead) back to yourself. Immediately got a nose bleed and had to come out of the game because I had blood on my jersey, and was bleeding all over the court. Nothing happened to the other kid. It's so dumb.

    it’s no big deal when you teach your children humility and respect of the opponent all his parents should be ashamed they already see their child in nba just for a crossover put to an opponent who could be his friend at the end of the game is for his reasons that America is going badly he created the division since childhood basketball is a game and there I see no game but a war between kids for a glory can be unattainable for some

    I don't see nothing wrong with it but fighting needs to comeback. Our coach used to give us the green light to rough up disrespectful players. Our 11th man was usually just a football player or wrestler who had a rough home life. His Stat line would be 0pts 7 rebs 3ast 5 personal fouls 1 tec 😂. Buddy was a crashout

    Older generation always thinks the next is cooked, we know this already because we’ve dealt with our parents and grans. So let the kids be, the internet and tv we contributed and exposed them to has a very heavy influence on their behaviour. What to do?

    • @OneMightyandStrong
      @OneMightyandStrong Місяць тому +1

      Exactly. I'm 49, but it seems like most in the comment section have forgotten their youth. Young people will always have 'ways' older people disagree with. Doesn't make the youth necessarily wrong for being themselves.
      Most in the comment section just sound old and out of touch.

    There is no new thing under the sun. Older generations always have claimed the younger generations are unruly, disrespectful, uncontrollable, and harmful in some way. The older generation of the 1970''s said the same thing about 20 somethings in the mid 1990's.
