  • Franco demonstrates the third knot in The Urban Butchery Channel's quadrilogy. This knot is known as the Urban Butchery Speed Knot.
Not only can this knot be used for butchery but you can use it in your own kitchen for roasting joints, prepping the Sunday dinner lamb or beef or just generally tie secure knots.
Also introducing a handy device for practicing your butchery knots you can use in your own home, the knot block. Franco explains how you can make it easily from parts you may already have in your home.
Give it a try we would love to hear your feedback on how you did!
Stay tuned for part four of the quadrilogy coming soon. Previous videos in the trilogy below

Hello. Just commented in your first butcher's knot vid, which uses a slipped figure-10 knot. This version uses a slipped figure-8 knot and is probably the most frequently used version I've seen, plus, as your title indicates it's faster. What advantage advantage does the fig-10 give, or do you now exclusively use the fig-8? Thanks.

Hi I use fig 8 mostly, it is faster, and easier to perform.
      It uses less string also
      Thank you
