Garmin is such an incredible company. I bought a refurbished Forerunner 235 back in September 2019 and it is now 2022 and I still wear and use it daily as if it was new. This is crazy considering that the forerunner I own was probably sold back in 2015, 7 years and still working like new. No plans of changing watches until this one breaks down!
Bought nylon straps for my 3 year fenix 5. Silicone rashes are an issue with regular straps. Comes in different colors. Amazon sells charging port covers but it’s a bit cumbersome to take it off whenever I’m charging.
Thanks Nino. I've bought the charging cover before but I think they are counter productive as moister tends to get trapped in there and that may damage the charging ports faster. And you are right it is so easy to lose them.

I agree Garmin makes good quality products that stand the test of time. Are we connected through Garmin yet?
great info! checking out those watches now. thank you sir!
Yeah, I highly recommended you look for older Garmin models online. They are still great and you can save tons.

how is the battery holding up? I just purchased a used one and I've read the battery's don't last over 4 years or so?
