I've never been to prison but had a first cousin who did 2 years in and I remember sending him money for oatmeal pies in the canteen is what he called it. Thank you for educating us all on why and how to stay FREE!
I was in prison for over 20 years from the age of 15 in Oklahoma. I have a channel and was told I should hyu. I was on blood on the razor wire recently. Nice video. Love/respect

I can speak a little bit on this as an Oklahoma ex con, that clover tattoo on his cellmates neck was most likely an IMG patch (Irish Mafia Gang), they were just starting up when I was in and the UABs were targeting the IMG pretty hard. Still goes on to this day.

I’m a lot like you and it’s always good to see people turn their lives around and make something out of nothing. Your surf boards are bad ass too. I to am succeeding. 20 yrs of in and out of lock up and addiction and I now own my own business. I work for myself. I’m busier than ever but it’s all on my terms so I’m glad to stay busy. Great content. My husband has been in and out since he was very young. 13 left to do on this sentence. He's been in every max prison in Oklahoma. It's a very hard life and i pray for him and everyone doing time. Please get out and stay out.

You need humbleness. Don't forget that not everyone in there is guilty and once they're in they have to do what they have to do in order to survive.

Man the way you tell it is the best. You bring the harsh reality with a reasonable amount of compassion and understanding, and deliver it all with great story telling. One day when i am not a broke ass ill be happy to support your channel. You definately make one want to stay out of the pen. Id rather be broke and free than rich from illegal activity only to be put in prison. Gotta be able to play my prs guitar!

Good story man!! When I was at Morgan County, It was a young cat that killed his celly for trying something funny (if you know what I mean). The craziest thing was, the young guy only had about 5 years left. In Tennessee, if you kill somebody in prison they give you a life sentence, so homie went from having 5 years left, to never getting out. Keep up the good work, you gonna hit a million soon.

Re: Your asking about their childhoods and how they went that path. That is exactly actually what made me seek out these prison channels. I have some knowledge from my years working the juvenile courts, but I was seeking more information as a parent. My husband died, and our 3 youngest children are boys, who much more, um 'spirited' lol, than our older kids are. These boys are more like their dad was as a teenager, reckless and daring. Our older kids were more like me as teens, with no trouble and great grades so fairly easy. Now not having my husband here for that point of view for the younger boys' preteen & teen years, I've gathered information, tips, what to watch for, etc. on a lot of these channels.
I appreciate you your realistic views and knowledge. Having not been incarcerated and a non judgemental person I like your individualistic approach to humanity. 😊

I have a lot of family in and out of prison and all of them have said they'd rather be in McAllister then granite including my dad who was in McAllister
In alabama I've seen "frequent flyers" go into court on their 3rd or 4th revocation hearing and go home that day. That same day I've seen folks on their first possession charge get 10 years. Not trafficking, manufacturing, or distribution simple ass possession. From what I've seen from the judges around here it's all about their mood when it's your turn to go up. It's wild how judges shuffle years like they're a deck of cards. Don't get in trouble in alabama the prison system here is terrible and parole is basically non existent.
The UAB are classified as the most dangerous gang in Oklahoma prison system. You should do a video on the Indian brotherhood IBH.
I was always amazed at the mug shots down through the years of the people who do methamphetamines.
Girl I went to highschool with has been in and out of jail for meth charges. Found out while perusing a local mugshot website. You can see the decline between each mugshot. Really sad stuff. She's a mother of 3 too which is worse.
My brother is doing life or few life sentences after killing few people and while in prison killed his cell mate. He said his cellie ask him to do it because he was dying of cancer and didn’t want to spend his last days locked up but I’m not so sure I wasn’t there so idk

Good "stay free" message for the end of your videos, mate. It rounds out your content with some positive advice and a lesson from someone who knows. It likely helped / will help a few young people or wannabe gangster think about their il-conceived idolisation of prisoners, before it's too late.
When you showing the kid who was killed mugshots, look at the left side of his neck in the last pic. He has a UAB patch, they patch 2 ways. Around the collar bone (flying low), or on the neck (flying high). They were both UAB's, unless the one killed wasn't official and got his patch in county or the streets. They housed 2 patch holders together.

I got one a few months ago an inmate was found dead just days after he signed a 25 to life for 1st degree murder charge, where im from butler county pennsylvania. the guy was only like 20 21 years old i think, its an interesting story

I worked at a county jail in OK and we housed some pretty high profile crime fellows. Like crazy murders. And this was a small county.
