My dad flew out of Compton in the 1960’s when I was 4 years old flying a C-150. I always feel asleep when we got airborne but I remember it well. At 23 I got my private pilot’s license because of my dad’s love of flying. It is so nice to see the Fly Compton Foundation providing access to flying for the community. Godspeed.
Compton is the coolest airport! robin Peagrave is also helping to do amazing thing there. I spent a week at the airport when wrapping my plane and the kids and programs happening and the open door model is incredible.
