I just purchased a 2023 Trd pro. I noticed a few different videos. Some Tacoma has ultrasonic sensors on the bumpers, and some trucks don't. Mine doesn't.
Not sure who makes Toyota base speakers, but I will say that Manual transmission Tacoma's do NOT come with (you also cannot add) JBL audio system. Only automatics get that option.
I just want to let you guys know a few things. I just picked up my TRD PRO last week and upgraded from a 2017 TRD sport. A few things to update. 1) my truck does not have the automatic seat on the passenger side, only drivers side. 2) It came with the bed light. 3) The transmission is improved a lot over my 17 TRD Sport tranny. The main reason I wanted this last year of the Gen 3 is that I was able to swap over most of my add on upgrades from the old truck. I went from Inferno Orange to the new solar Octane Orange. I actually like both colors a lot. I really appreciate the in your face bright colors. My favs are: 1) Solar Octane 2) Voodoo Blue 3) Inferno Orange 4) Lunar Rock 5) Cement Gray The truck rides very nice.
I have a 2018 off road and is a great mid size truck. I highly recommend this vehicle. I’m watching this video to see if it’s worthy to upgrade to a 2023, but it is not. I think is time for Toyota to get up to date, at least on interior technology.
I'd buy it for MSRP if I had an extra $50K, but my existing 2017 Tacoma Off-Road has been working quite well. I'd like that manual trans, but my auto trans is working well. I suspect this 2023 still has the rear drum brakes, but this video didn't cover that. I also don't understand why no keyless entry or push button start as it'd seem push button start is unrelated to the tranny type (afaik). My 2003 Tacoma is also still with me and its keyed entry and ignition is still working fine 19 years later, however. Tacoma still does come with a lot of standard features without having to add everything as an additional cost option, which, overall, I like. I'm on Stevens Creek Blvd often and shall stay away from the dealership to avoid the temptation to buy, yet another, Tacoma:)
Man I can’t wait. Mine is being built on 11/14 and should have by Christmas. Could’ve got one sooner but I want it for MSRP. Too many dealerships gouge people selling overpriced “paint protection”. It’s a truck, the paint shouldn’t be the main concern lol. I love this color. Only color to get IMO. 🧡🧡🧡
electric lime, calvary blue, and lunar rock are the best colors so far for the TRD Pro Tacomas in my opinion. Yellow would have been a nice color to end this generation.. Solar Octane is meh!
Glad to hear the manual transmission is available. However, there's no reason to not have keyless entry. Also, no reason to not lock the gas. No reason to not paint the center pilar with the same color as the rest of the truck. The fake hood scoop needs to be replaced with a more aerodynamic hood. I like stamped TRD Pro instead of decals. Also, this truck should be offered in an extended cab with a 6ft bed. Oh, and how about less obnoxious body paint colors.
As a Tacoma TRD Sport access cab owner, I can tell you that six-speed manual is the only way to go. First reason is the automatic shifts terribly and over shifts to the point where it is really annoying especially if you don't live in a flat place. Second, I can get way better mpg on my own shifting the gears myself. If you live in cold weather places with snow and ice manual is the way to go. Finally, they are just way more fun.

Well done!!! Best I have seen on the 23', I have the exact truck in route to me in automatic. Thanks
Glad this video could help. Congrats on your truck and enjoy that smartkey lol
Lucky :)
Wish you the best with it.
Nice truck. I love that it's a manual. Nice review as well.
thank you i appreciate the support
I waited months for 2023 TRD Pro and when I saw it, I walked away from the deal. Im now waiting for my Ice Cap TRD Pro, hopefully Feb of 2023.
Same here. Late January
it seems like there is nothing new to review but the color....
No power on the passenger seat 💺 I wish though!
I like the black between the front and back windows. Makes it look like one large window from the side view.
What’s the brand on the speakers?
Not sure who makes Toyota base speakers, but I will say that Manual transmission Tacoma's do NOT come with (you also cannot add) JBL audio system. Only automatics get that option.
Can't wait to see one with bronze rims
they need to improve the powertrain or go for v6 turbo diesel that’s all please make tacoma great again
And for only 80k plus. You can get this mid size truck 😂😂 I don’t even want to know the price on these
my 2004 corollas fuel door is locked but a car made 20 years later isnt? i dont understand toyota

Question- is the FRAME a cold rolled hydroformed fully boxed design?
I’ll wait for the 2024 updated redesign, this 2023 looks just like the last 6 years models 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
God, it's beautiful!
Waiting for mine to arrive! It'll be here by November 4th!
Lucky you.
nice truck but why not 17" wheels? (my previous 2012 Taco had 'em). .....debating this (in automatic, a wife request) or the Canyon AT4X.
2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO Solar Octane Crew Cab 4X4!
Same old truck...time for a change !!
Still no front locker smh 🤦♂️
Frontier S model king cab, sooo awesome great power.
I really like this truck except the color I prefer blue greetings from Texas
Me gusta toyota tacoma para papa esteban
No bed light in the Pro? 🤷♂️
It's like a $200 OEM option, but it is pre-wired and the hole is precut with a removable blank cap. So it's an easy install after purchase
@@StarManProduction yes it is! I put a pair in mine for under $60 but c'mon, for what you pay for a Pro...
I saw this 🌮 at Stevens creek last night 😍
Time for an update
I agree, this generation of 4runner and tacoma feel really outddated now after driving the new tundra and sequoia
Is this for sale?
Do trucks not have a rear defrost like suv ?
Yes
Awesome video. I remember watching your video on the trail edition which I ended up buying. Keep making awesome videos brotha…
Thank you so mcuh I'm glad my videos helped you out. Will definetely keep them coming out!
Spoke with all the dealerships in my area, and was given a 14 month wait time for one of these
what area?
@@Krowicki Ottawa, Ontario
@@jcameron7453 wow that's nuts, 14 months and toyota will stop selling the 23 model. try to put yourself on as many delaer waitlists as possible

LUNAR ROCK
@@jonathanguzmanaldapa9234 this is WAY better than lunar rock
Black
Mine is going to be allocated on 11/14 so I should be getting it by Christmas too
How do you get yours built? Went to the dealer ship and never even got that option.
Same truck new color
Old body style. Nothing new to see here!

I was hoping 2023 would be a yellow color too
Is this real or fake? If it’s real What is new? !!!!!!!!!

Supreme review thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it

Not worth the $50k plus priced
I’ll go with Jeep gladiator
