    I cook more Haitian food than American food and i'm not Haitian LOL I grew up with a Haitian god-family. Taught me almost everything they know. That food is Flavor City.

    I love this recipe! Thank you so much for sharing. When I lived in Jersey I had a Haitian boyfriend for a few years. He took me to a Haitian restaurant almost daily. This sends my taste buds on a nostalgic trip. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

    I hate callaloo with a passion but this looks so good. The only way I'll eat this is to take the callaloo out once done cooking.

      cyndi williams you’re welcome..you can make it at home..it’s a green seasoning made from green bell pepper, scallion, onion, fresh cilantro, garlic, hot pepper. She has a vid on it ❤️

    I am not Haitian. Haitian food is my favourite out of all the caribbeans foods. Question can I use something else besides aluminium foil aluminium is extremely toxic

      That's how I was taught to cook it as well, by my father who is Haitian. The vegetables are going to be way too soft, soggy, and overcooked if you put them in at the same time as the chicken.
