- This is going to go down as one of the wildest releases that has come through the RC Driver workshop. From the very start, we had no idea what this new vehicle was other than an Arrma car. Arrma supplied us with this new car and only gave instruction to open it up with the camera rolling. So Greg did! See the new Arrma Fireteam Tactical Unit 4WD Speed Assault Vehicle with him for the first time and go over all the details on this tactical themed side-by-side. Of course you need to see this thing in action so there’s plenty of action too. This 1/7-scale machine is a real beast and is loaded with features to take your action RC adventure to the next level! Thanks! It certainly eats up a lot of time resulting in less videos I can make overall. But if it helps people decide on whether the car is for them or not, the effort was worth it.

I almost stopped half way through the video seeing just unboxing and driving was so slow - better suited for Tamiya (which I do love). Thank goodness you did push it harder in the second half and didn't shy away from showing panel damages. Good to see the limits of this vehicle. Thank you Greg!

Great review -- "I like this nice, aggressive-looking body" is like a patented RCDriver phrase at this point. I think Arrma had a design meeting where they sat around and asked, "how can we make this look even more aggressive?" -- "I know, we'll have guys with AR-15s in it!!!!" 😂

I was thinking this would be a desert/Baja type racer. It looks like it could hold its own with that, but I can appreciate Arrma adding a few things to distinguish it from the typical desert/Baja racer. The handbrake, in particular, is an interesting addition.
At first I wasn’t sure if I like it or not. But as I look at it more- I do like it. I would totally get the white camo and run it as a snow-day basher. ☃️
Yup, the white one looks pretty cool. Scale Builders Guild and CCXRC have cool videos with the white version.

This is bringing me back to watching those Yeti XL videos I got so pumped I went out and bought one right away then barely used it lol I guess it depends where you live and if you have access to the right type of terrain where no one will hassle you.

@@jotcw81 I think it could be alot of fun but yeah I'm just not in the right area to enjoy it. Also it wasn't built strong enough for its weight so it's constantly breaking parts unless you upgrade most the vehicle. It turned into a huge money pit lol hope this Arrma is built much better because I can see the potential for alot of fun!!

I spend so much time trying to convince my wife that RCs are not toys that I wouldn’t risk buying this rig as the driver / passenger figures are waaay too toy like! Personally I like it tho!

Very Nice Bashing Greg 💯 Arrma has fairly good RC's but I wasn't to fond of my Ex-Outcast 6s with the diffs constantly blowing up. But I'm sure others have better experience.

Good review. Thanks for highlighting its a Mojave chassis and Kraton arms. The SLT3 radio/ no AVC stability in this is a bit shocking with the high MSRP, 750 USD!

It lands on it's feet way more than MAXX does, that's for sure. This one may be good, hope it's actually durable.
The long, wide footprint, plus the long travel shocks really keep this thing stable. I believe the tall wall tires, although wacky looking really help with stability and landings too. So far so good!

The stance, size, tires, pro-2a, etc is all great. But man, as an avid Jeeper and off-roader, I see these rzrs everywhere. Trying to imagine a strike team or whatever using one of them is just hard for me to wrap my head around ha.

I don't know if this was intentional but the dudes in the vehicle look like they just stepped of the set of The Expanse! Their suites resemblance to Martian light armour is a little uncanny. Maybe this is meant to be used as a Mars rover? It might be cool to cover it in MCRN decals? Now I suddenly want one just to do that!

Great review great. You're videos are extremely well done. With this being arrmas heaviest vehicle with these electrics did you notice any heat issues? In warm weather and grassy areas I think it will be a problem at over 13lbs. How was the body at keeping debris out of the chassis compartment? Looks like it has very good coverage.
Unfortunately being in the Northeast I haven’t been able to temp check it in warm weather. All my running so far has been in below freezing temps. That being said, I have done back to back runs without a break and without issue so it appears promising. The inside does get dirt in, but the center driveline area sees minimal debris. Thanks for the compliments!

I'm not super excited for it. I feel like it's not bringing anything new outside of some of the parts. Definitely not a pick up for me, but I can see why others would really dig it.

Yeah, I drive one handed for all the close up action. I use a GoPro on a boom pole in my other hand.

Are the figures removable?
It looked like there was an opening in the bottom exposing the spur gear.. lol that seems like a terrible idea wouldn’t it just get filled with dirt and grass and small pebbles?
This is pretty much the standard design for 1/8 based platforms for ages. It’s very rare that there is a problem.
The body looks like a UTV, but the tires are double-sized!

My wallet is happy it is what it is. Already have a mojave that's been hardly used so in a way I'm glad. It does look very cool but not worth spending about 800$ on right now. As always though thanks for the review Greg!

I went through a couple phases with it. I was excited when I first saw it, then there was a theme question phase and then after driving it I was blow away by the fun factor. Yup, they’re existing parts, but they’re put together in the right combination. It’s not for everyone, but I think those that get it will love it. Thanks for listening to me babble! 😄
@@rcdriver your reviews are always on point Greg brother... You always do a great job. Not every vehicle is for everyone, that's the beauty of the Hobby, there is something for everyone out there. For me the over the top Para military theme was a turn off and I'm a veteran lol. Plus, I didn't care for the independant suspension as opposed to a trailing arm configuration, that's just a personal choice. And the price is well... Imo too high. And the promo totally reminded me of those TV ads back in the 80's and 90's when they were pushing toys from the Saturday morning cartoons.. Remember those? 🤣
