@dancingastronaut: 'Trance titan Armin van Buuren is a true master of the live set. While most DJs generally perform for an hour or two, Armin routinely performs for three hours or more, with each of his “Armin Only” live sets stretching for a gargantuan six hours.
This love for longer sets continued at Untold Festival in Romania, where the legendary producer was initially booked for a three hour set, but decided to extend his set to a mammoth five hours, dropping some fabulous tracks and remixes in the process.
At one point during the marathon performance, Armin quite visibly tears up, probably after being overcome with the raw emotion that trance music so easily captures. Armin’s set at Untold 2017 will go down in history as one of the most memorable performances the festival has ever seen and is a testament to the trance icon’s ageless ability.'

Best set ever #1. I can only compare it with club Eau 00s extended sets, but the classics, the sunrise and the crowd have maken history in this edition. It deserves one of the best sets in dance music history.

Untold it's the best festival for me...Amazing lineup, 10 stages, great prices, great crowd and the fact that is located in the middle of a city (meaning that you have every facility around) convinced me.Untold forever !!!!!

This is my friends one of the best if not the best sets i've ever seen/hear in a music festival. I keep listening for about a week and never get tired of this performance. What Armin did this year at Untold is nothing more nothing less then PURE ART, the ART of TRANCE.
Honestly, I am in love with Armin's music. But how did the crowd LIVE for 5.5 hours of him?! Now **that** is true hype, guys. If you agree, then tell me or add on. This set was actually amazing, and I feel like I am the only one to actually watch the entire thing. This is a MARATHON at Untold. Romania, you guys are freaking amazing, and so energetic. Energetic enough to not only stay awake until 8:20 AM from this, but were able to even clap near the end. You guys are awesome, and if you went, tell me **how** you survived this set. It was amazing.

This has to be one of the best sets of Armin of the past 4 years... It's incredible how different he plays in each country.. On Tomorrowland he played the last 4 years too much bigroom influated trance.. It wasn't good at all.. Then you see him on the ASOT stage at TML and he played again a very different but fantastic trance set. It's horrible how the people in Belgium (where I live) are so bigroom minded, I think Armin plays therefore harder in the Western of Europe because that's what the mainstream people want.. but I'm so jealous on the East of Europe, In these country's he plays almost a full set of trance, and lovely uplifting and vocal trance.. I love it... Trance is a fantastic genre, people who don't understand why you cry sometimes will never feel the true emotion trance has..

I love both the bigroom Armin and the trance one . it's about taste. don't say it's horrible . just because you don't like it ,it doesn't mean it's horrible . i listen and i like bigroom 2x more than trance,yet i cried on trance music here at armin's concert .this is life,unexpected and beautiful. armin has asot stages and you can enjoy him there :) and i await you at untold to see that even though we're small as a country , we can do great things . cheers

As an Inspirit and Buddy, I considered this live set still one the best and the most emotional live set for the last 2 decades in the world. This live set also bring me back to A State of Trance radio show after i didn't hear his radio show after 6 years since my first episode to heard his radio show at 2011. I think Armin also got the highest achivement as a musician, with give a true emotions to 62,000 people. Maybe they had tired after waited Armin's live set so long, but their emotions and their spirit will be remain and remembered, forever. True Music, True Emotions.

Wow romanian trance crowd is really amazing
Check this out; Hardly any cellphones, the right attention to the dj at exactly the right musical moments. When the camera's pass to take close-ups from the crowd people don't make hearts, shout or do funny things but still keep their attention to the music. The real drug is the music, thats what is putting them together, exactly as what trance-music is meant to be. The Romenian crowd understands this completely. Respect for those 100% natural trance-lovers! Ow and what a set!!!!

Dude, they are throwing hearts all over the place. A festival is never 100% about music, there is also a lot of event (visuals, fireworks, DJ interacting with the crowd,...) in there. Especially AvB is known for putting up a good show, entertaining the crowds.

For anyone asking why they are crying: You will not understand it, you are not there. Watching a set behind a computer screen and watching one in person is so much different, you can feel such a vibe when you are actuallly at them, sometimes the vibe hits you so hard your emotions just come out.

My personal opinion Armin van Buuren is the best Deejay to ever lived.
I love you Romania! Thanks to you I have been able to witness one of the best, if not the best, trance sets ever made!

This is literally **the** best trance-dj-set I have experienced so far in this industry. And believe me, I have seen quite a few of them over the last three decades. Even Armin's later sets during the last 2-3 years weren't as good as this one. A quite perfect production and performance at a continuous high level over hours, apart from the power outage at the end, but this wasn't Armins fault.
Armin loves Romania and his fans , without doubt the best crowd I have ever seen.

normally when you listen to music frequently it starts to feel the same and eventually you just stop listening to it.. but when listening to trance everytime it feels like a new song.. its weird i cant describe it. especially from armin.

Seeing audience members crying in this video and sharing a bit here but trance / EDM music got me through a very, very difficult time in my life during a divorce. (My wife suddenly divorced me, I broke no marriage vows.) I gave her the house, made sure she was very taken care of along with children financially, then rented my own house and took a year to personally recalibrate myself. I enjoyed lifting weights so I built my own home gym in my garage in Arizona which regularly got to over 110 degrees F (think of it like a Sauna).
I remember as I came to grips with my new divorced reality to watching / listening to EDM live concerts mostly Tiesto and Armin on my Dell laptop on top of my car in the garage (with the garage door shut) as I lifted weights by myself in the heat. I called it my anvil, my forge on which I'd build the 2.0 version of myself coming out better, faster & stronger. It was incredibly cathartic, almost spiritual, lifting by myself my only companion (I dated no women for over a year living a monkish solitary life, just the children & I as I reset myself given I was married/together for 14 years) listening to Armin sweating out the pain & tears while I lifted in my 100 degree garage. What I love about Armin's music is it's happy, fun, light, uplifting, joyous, soulful & spiritual. It helped me immensely.
Fast forward 5 years, happily remarried everything is massively improved financially, personally, spiritually, really everything and I credit both Armin and Tiesto getting me through the most challenging time in my life.
Forgive me if this is oversharing but thank you Armin.
