I know when I was considering getting Sisterlocks, I would watch endless videos about them, so I hope this is useful to someone who is considering getting them as well! Let me know if you would like more Sisterlocks content from me!
I have been following your sister and saw the video of you both and was thinking your hair was beautiful. not knowing it was actually your real hair. I can not believe the volume, thickness and beauty in your hair .
Your hair is beautiful!! I have sisterlocs 3 plus years and I never tried pipe cleaners but I definitely will now. Thank you for a great video!! Very informative!!
Very informative, you're a breath of fresh air. Really enjoyed your content. I am deciding to do sister locks, I am excited. Your sisterlocks look good, even when it was 5 inches. Your humble and down to earth😊
Thanks so much for saying that sis, I appreciate it more than you know! I have a whole Sisterlocks Playlist where I answer so much and even bring my loctician on to answer common questions. This Sunday's video we lay out the downsides of getting Sisterlocks, and I hope it's helpful!
Hey girl!! Great video! I’m currently 6 months post establishment👋🏾 of my sisterlocks. You’re right, best decision ever. I’m in the phase where my Locs are maturing/budding yet still on the thinning side along the shaft in some places. I’m loving my Locs.. however I can wait until they are mature. I have 457 Locs, established on 11 inches of hair…with a significant portion of the ends left out. Establishment took 35 hours over 3 days. Paid $2700 (2023). I love the freedom of just front up and going!!! Can you post a link to the die stick. My edges are thin as well. Considering seeing a dermatologist. Thank you again
Thanks so much, sis, for sharing that! I'm happy to hear you've been loving your Sisterlocks as well! 11 inches of hair is super long, so I'm not too surprised that they costed you a pretty penny. But so worth it, I'm sure! Sorry to hear about the thinning edges, you are not alone! Here is the link to the dye stick that I use: amzn.to/3sW0KgQ
Oh I'm sorry your journey hasn't been ideal so far! I had issues with my edges on my locs looking crazy as well. I recently posted a video on how to reattach locs and it has helped out tremendously! I hope it gets better for you!
Can you do a tutorial on how you do the pipe cleaners? I’m sistetlocked for 4 years. I hardly do styles cause I was so tired of the maintenance of my loose natural hair. Now I’m interested in more styles on my locs. I did a braid out a few weeks ago that I loved. Great video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Erica! Doing styles on your locs really is so much fun! I'm glad you liked the braid out; how you ever tried adding mouse to the sections to make them last longer? Also, in the last chapter of this video I showed how to add the pipe cleaners! With a little bit of practice, it's really easy. I hope this helps!
@@tiffofili so far I love them … however I work out a lot and having slippage on my neck … I hate that look but other than that I am happy I made this decision! :) any tips with slippage and washing besides braid n band. This hair so short it’s hard for me to do it .. 🥴
I'm happy you've been loving them too! I also had the problem with slippage in the beginning. If the braiding and banding isn't working could you maybe try it with Bobby pins or clips? If those don't work, maybe ask your loctician for their opinion??
I definitely understand that! And that's what kept me from taking the plunge for so long. I'm not going to lie, for the first few months I was wearing wigs a lot until my locs matured!
Hey girl sorry for the delay! She works out of her home. Would you still like for me to provide you her number? Shoot me a DM on IG and I'll give it to you! There's no way yo DM on here.

I think as long as a person's hair is clean, tidy, not falling into food or drink, not at risk of catching in machinery, its professional.😊
I totally agree with you there! Thanks for sharing your perspective!

Prices definitely increased I paid $850 for 2/3 inches of hair. I also cut 12 inches of relaxed hair off the day of installment ..
Yes I get it! It seems like everything is just so much more expensive these days. How are you liking going Sisterlocks so far?!

Thanks so much! ❤️❤️
This video is long time coming
I hope folks find use in it!
I am considering sistelocks but the beginning stage (ugly stage) is what has deterred me.
