I say that every single day, and he is up there too and even more. Four decades in the business of making great music. If there is any Jamaican musician who deserves a Grammy it is this man.
Commercial radio doesn't push positive music anymore. Bob was hugely talented and charismatic but also lucky, to an extent. He also came up at a politically charged time, so his music easily resonated with people.
They dont want reggae music on the radio, its cultural and the radio is being used to destroy to culture
