I've always been fascinated by this song. Arguably the most vulnerable and dark song of Devo. What makes it work even more is the use of those samples (possibly from a crowd cheering at a game?). With some Fairlight magic, Mark weaves it into this kind of rhythmic ghostly cry of despair. As if a thousand voices that were silenced by humanity's wars and catastrophes are echoing from their graves. At least that's how I see it, don't know if that was the intention.

I like it better without that part to be honest, it kind of kills the flow of the song for me
