the reason uzi is able to create black holes and counter cyn's control is because in episode 7 cyn controlled her, and used her body to make black holes, but we could also see that uzi was still aware of what was happening, as a result of seeing cyn make black holes by controlling her, she simply learned to do it herself, and the same goes for control, but for example cyn didn't use teleportation when she controlled uzi, so uzi couldn't learn to do it.
And she also knew about Cyn breaking the patch so that back up about being aware of what was happening-
Also, I thought they weren't technically "black holes", I thought they were a "Null void" because it's labelled as void and a tech pun.
Honestly
Those blackholes are wired as hell. A blackhole with the size of a coin can engulf the entire planet in seconds.
Lastly, I think a big part of why Uzi was able to resist is that she's Nori's daughter. Nori was an experiment to break free from Cyn's control, and was successfully upgraded with the patch. This means that the Patch was present in her code, and when she merged her code with Kahn's to make Uzi, she would have had an incomplete version of the patch, but the baseline would still be present. Uzi's moment of freedom is one of a few possibilities: either she learned to rewrite her own code - a huge step in becoming a true Singularity, like Cyn - or her code was altered - and completed - by Cyn's infection. Basically, there's a chance Cyn's hubris in claiming Uzi may have completed the incomplete code inside Uzi and let her wrestle control back.
the necklace. Its the necklace.
Hell yeah it was. It absolutely ended the show in a way that was very satisfying to watch, and makes the vast majority of the fans walk out of that experience grateful for what GLITCH and Liam have cooked up. Sure, it isn't perfect and a lot of things could've been changed, but with the cards that we were dealt, this is objectively one of the best endings that we could've gotten. Bravo GLITCH, and bravo Liam. 👏

Recency bias detected, this episode sucked ass, was clearly rushed just to end the show@@Yagsterr
I personally think they'll do what they did after Meta Runner ended and release a comic or two to elaborate on life after Episode 8, before Episode 1, or after the Gala Massacre (Episode 7 flashback). Even though I don't actually have the money for it I will find a way if one releases
That’s sounds lazy imo

I e watched the video so much times just that battle scene the music the majesty it’s an addiction at this point
I got a theory that the "black holes" are not "black holes" but some stabilized form of it. Or even maybe some form of Dark Matter (Not antimatter)
Ngl those black holes work really similar to gojo's hollow purple. They aren't technically black holes and their purpose is literally violating any physical rule of our reality because they are intended to literally destroy matter which is not what black holes do (black holes are supernovas that start spinning concentrating all of its mass at the singularity, a 2D ring. Their gravity attraction is just insane and reality literally works different inside of them). Knowing that the absolute solver is a program able to manipulate reality we could say that it's just a command to delete matter or store it somewhere else.
Their probably just singularitys that allow the solvers to ... well, .... do this
@@Verified_Manit isnt a blackhole, its null brought into physical form. Like you said absolute solver can literally bring a state of matter to null effectively deleting it.
@@Verified_Man The solver eats matter. Null not actually destroying matter would serve as an explanation why Uzi couldn't use Null to destroy The Solver. Her power was only able to contain it.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Black Holes, even at that size would violently draw in everything in a massive radius, these seem more like some kind of contained reaction that detonates outward.
So I think the black sphere is some kind of containment for either some kind of fusion or fission reaction (creating a thermonuclear explosion) or possibly antimatter which outright erases matter. Which might make more sense for the ‘Null’ definition, if what it does is reduce the target to nothing, or Null.
It’s like a shell carrying a payload.
Honestly, the expressions they gave Cyn was probably my favorite part of the episode. The expression you chose for the thumbnail is probably my favorite expression of Cyn, purely because it amplifies how insane yet silly Cyn is
The show was definitely a bit too fast paced and probably could’ve been finished in 10-12 episodes instead, Ep7 had Uzi heavily struggling with the solver, then she magically becomes a solver space wizard by literally using the power of confidence, I personally didn’t feel like there was many stakes, it looked spectacular but I didn’t feel like any character was in actual danger because of how many times Cyn ripped out someone’s heart and failed to actually assimilate them, the entire fight felt like Cyn was playing around the entire time, Thad, Khan, and Lizzy seemed like they were gonna have a big role because of the end of Ep7 but they only appeared in a few gags. I’d overall rate this episode an 7.5/10
Pacing: 6/10
Animation: 10/10
Horror: 5/10
Humor: 6.5/10
Music: 10/10
Fight Choreography: 9/10
Generally a good finale but there’s a lot to be desired, why do the drones have ribcages? How long has Cyn been assimilating Solar Systems? Assuming it takes 6 months for Cyn to take control of a Solar system, she could range from 5 years old to over 20, Where is that Dog Planet and what happened to J? We see her in the end credits repairing the ship, so many unanswered questions which could definitely lead to a spin-off or other form of media to answer all of these questions
She became good with the solver because Nori (uzis mom) gave Uzi the patch
I agree for the most part, but I feel like your over thinking about the rib cage stuff.
As well as why were cores suddenly introduced as their souls, felt cheap as well as damaging because in ep 2 J’s body aside from her legs have been eviscerated, so how the hell did the solver use a core if it was destroyed from the rail gun.
Couldn't agree more. But I think the ribcage thingy was so cool, Even robot shouldn't have it.
I agree with the fast pacing, it might just be me but sometimes the episodes ended on something and started on something completely different and it just threw me off
One of the instances was where Uzi goes into N’s memories and becomes a crow, I get it was for N to remember but if he didn’t remember, how did Uzi get into his memories? How was there an entire simulation about that? What was up with the whole "Darkwolf" username thing?
Edit: Also I agree with the injuring characters, there was so much blood and stabbing and it got me wondering how the characters weren’t dead, especially with the ripping their cores off, also do the drones regain lost limbs?, cuz Uzi’s finger got cut, N with his arm, V with her leg
I like how people hate ep 5 for being mostly of lore and hate ep 8 for not being mostly of lore, mostly ep 1-4 was about fighting and uzi's solver that's it, but when we get an ep abt lore the community wants to get all mad, but when we get a lot of fights in ep 8 "Nah, this is trash" Oh my god I'm still yapping, anyway bye.
I think it's a bit more nuanced than that. Both episodes kinda have the same problem which is that it's unclear to understand the lore. The difference is that ep5 creates too many questions and ep8 doesn't answer too many of them in hindsight.
I liked episode 5
@@Betterknnikl +1 respect
@@ijveraar3795 Some people might over think things sometimes, so if they weren't answered in other episodes I'd suggest ignoring them :)
@@SerialDesignationN-c1l yeah it's also true that certain elements could have been scrapped and such, guess this situation is just a byproduct of having a big fanbase
Let's face it, considering the name 'Murder Drones' and the premise of 'Ultraviolent Vampire Fallen Angel Robots murder a planet until an edgy teen befriends them, then they fight Robot Yog-Sosoth', the interpersonal relationships and deep lore is mostly a bonus. A very very appreciated bonus, but, y'know.
the way they ended and started the season was so clever, they started and ended with a presentation. not many people notice this, but it should be since it’s such a creative craft that glitch and liam used.
Personally, the episode felt really rushed, we didnt get much time to breathe, and the end felt kinda awkwardness. However, the episode was still good and I cant stop rewatching it. Not the best finale, but not the worst
Kinda eh finale… but still a damn good episode.
People have said well there won't be another season there will still be lore revealed after.
Also I'd say well it may not have been a fantastic ending. At least it is an actual ending.
Seems to me most shows fumble well before then. Or they just make an ending that doesn't feel like an ending.
This show had a clear source of conflict throughout and resolved it at the end.
I feel like it’s more a product of the overall series kinda being disjointed and paced strangely. That will happen with a indie studio like this though, planning years in advance is tough when you don’t know if you will even be able to make your next episode.
@@NightshadeDE They knew how many episodes they would have from the start.
It is paced in that it has 8 episodes to go over everything it needs to go over.
@@phantom-ri2tgi think they knew how many episodes they would have from the start but they were planning to have a season 2 from the start until liam started to lose interest in it and digital cirus came out also he wanted to probably work on his other projects so can't blame him for not wanting to do a season 2
It was a good finale, although there’s still questions with no answer that weren’t answered in this episode it was still freaking epic though

@@pixeldelico I get it, I mean, I was disappointed I couldn’t even get in the premiere cause it was so laggy to me. So I had it to watch it after it ended, for the first time and I still enjoyed it

It was the final battle that made me absolutely love it, and the night core song they used for it had me fucking jamming out while cyn pulls out a fucking claymore

ngl one of best series just ended
It wasn't the best ending and it wasn't the worst, sometimes all you need to do is just stick the landing, trying to go out in an explosive spectacle is more often than not going to mess it up. Really my issues with the finale (mostly pacing) is an issue with Murder Drones as a series itself, it didn't get enough time and I easily think a couple more episodes to flesh the story and character growth out would've been massive. V went from hating Uzi's guts to being her friend in the span of 2 episodes which feels really jarring. The reason N and Uzi's development worked so well is that every episode was used to develop their relationship which makes the payoff of them dating at the end much more satisfying. I was expecting a sadder end with a lot less season 2 bait but I'm happy we got a somewhat happy ending, even if there's questions (placed intentionally or not) that still need answers. They stuck the landing, and I'm glad they didn't fall flat on their face.
yes.
Personally, the episode felt really rushed, we didnt get much time to breathe, and the end felt kinda awkwardness. However, the episode was still good and I cant stop rewatching it. 😊
My main issue is with how V ended up. It would've been nice to see her learning to get along with Uzi better after holding a grudge for so long.
@@areakastudios6704That happened in episodes 3, 4, 5 & 6.

@@ManDude601it would've probaly took so long if it was 40 minutes but even tho it was kinda rushed, the 20 minutes was still peak
@@purpledshadow Ok, yeah I'm a moron. I just saw a clip from episode 6 and it makes much more sense now.
After the narrative clusterfuck that was episodes 1-7, I'm actually a bit released that episode 8 was a fairly straightforward conclusion. No crazy new mysteries introduced, just some character resolutions and the confirmation of my sneaking suspicion that we were never actually going to learn about things like, for example, the origins of the Absolute Solver or what exactly it was 😅
Exactly, honestly I’m confident I can put up a stiff resistance against anyone defending this show

@@def3ndr887The story was interesting the whole time until the" last episode"😭😭 Many things didn't even get answered, If this is not the last episode It'll not be hated like this. However, I hate this episode because they say it was finale.
@@iLoveNzoMuch I’d argue the story was only interesting at pilot as it established what the characters were going to do and what the world looked like. Afterwards they appear to have backpedaled, failing to accomplish anything established in the pilot ep and adding things along the way without any real meaning to them.
I just realized, did we ever find out if N killed Nori?
Yeah I sorta knew we would never find out who killed nori before ep 8 drops
Well it would make sense for a good plot point, also she said “hey, you look familiar”
Well I’d say so just not directly
i bet so but like i also wish if they went in depth with that they went into yevas and dolls thingy
I thought it was obvious that N killed nori?
In episode 3, when doll said
"Im not the only one who lost family to them"
The camera goes to N, who looks guilty
And in ep7, Nori says
"Hey, you look familiar"
Which I thought meant she remembered her death and who did it
As a person who can't find something as good as murder drones i think murder drones shouldn't end like this the story has too much potential to end like this and cosmick u can't crush black holes with ur hands or with anything because energy can't be created nor destroyed but changes into other forms
8:20 the most logical explanation for this is because she experienced Cyn\the AS actually possessing her and using black holes during that time so when she was free she had “unlocked” the ability 8:39 the reason why Tesscyn was able to do that is probably because the black hole was made using the AS and well, she is the AS, so she could just despawn it with effects ig? 8:51 maybe because she has determination\confidence now, is less scared, has experience with the AS inside her body, and knows she’s not alone anymore (that’s the best I got for that one) 8:58 that has something to do with the black holes
More back up for the last one: the pop-up message literally says “[NULL]” which is also the command for the black holes
I see a lot of people disliking this epsisode but for me, i personally really liked it. There wasnt a single scene where i just didnt enjoy something. Everything was great: the animation, horror, comedy, music all amazing.
Although i have a few complains:
- There should have been a doorman family reunion.
Khan and Nori were kinda did a bit dirty. I was expecting some interactions between them and Uzi but we didnt really get to see that :/
- The ending was good written but i dont think it was the best. It just kinda basic to me honestly (the good guys win and bad guys lose, same old sh!t). This ending wasnt bad but i was expecting it to be little bit diffrent. I would honestly prefer if N would sacrificed himself for others (but thats a topic for another discussion, trust me this would be good and it would still menage to end on a happy note but once again this is a topic for another discussion).
Overall this episode should have been at least 5-10 minutes longer. We needed some scenes like doorman family reunion, J making alliance with Cyn on screen and N escaping the cabin fever labs and stealing J's spaceship.
This episode is definitely my 2nd favorite in the series. It was a rushed perfection.
Anyway here is my ranking of the episodes:
1. Mass destruction
2. Absolute End
3. Dead End
4. The Promering
5. Pilot
6. Heartbeat
7. Cabin Fever
8. Home

Finale of the show, Only the beginning of the franchise!
Greatest Take in history.
It felt really rushed and weak, compared to the previous episodes. I don't hate it, but it was kinda dissapointing. But to be honest i just think my expectations were too high.
Honestly I'm slowly realising something after watching things people call rushed. I think my ADHD just makes me completely blind to it. I first was confused when people called Hazbin rushed and now this. Kinda weird lol but hey. Maybe it's because I can keep up better? pfff I dunno man. I liked the finale and thats honestly all that matters
I really hope that we get a cominc book like what we got for meta runner.
Like make us see more Khan and Nori more thad N and Uzi again, and it would be cool if they make a scene were V finds J and invites her with the others since cyn doesn't have control of her anymore.
Maybe im coping very hard as usual but i hope so much it happens.
Wished there was one more episode dude. This finale was good and all but it had the stupidest amount of plot holes bro. We need at least one episode to explain or build to all that. Not a bad finale but I’d personally rate it 7/10.
Murder Drones is the latest bit of western media to earn the coveted 'Well it ended better than Game of Thrones did' award. Not a perfect ending, but one I can be satisfied with regardless.
That sums it up perfectly. The show was a mess but a good one ! And I'm glad it got an ending before its creator got bored.
I think the episode was in between for me, it was peak but some parts of it seemed to be kinda rushed and off. I think to explain the lore better the episode could have been turned into two parts.
I hope they will make season 2 of murder Drones.
have faith
You never know. I believe them when they say they're done for now, but creators rezzing old projects years later is hardly unheard of. Until then, I for one have enjoyed the ride we got.
@@zackakai5173 makes sense
I agree that it was rushed. It left us with too many questions. So, I really hope that they're only shutting it down temporarily (even though they said it was permanent) or that we get some community-made season
It would be cool to see lil shorts of N and Uzi causing chaos
that she could use the black holes and stuff was cuz she was confident or something in the start of the episode nori tells her she can resist solve if she isnt in some breakdown or something like that
Ok but to be honest i think the story os weak. It may be a hot take but i REALLY don't like how they killed cyn. All that emotion, backstory, tragedy, all the things the disassembly drones had hone through their ENTIRE life, and cyn just... dies like that. Not one of the disassembly drones snapped against cyn and told her that they are not slaves, or gotten revenge. Uzi was the only one putting significant damage and she had never gone through what they went through with cyn taking advantage of the fact that the disassembly drones were ALREADY slaves, and doing tessa, cyns own MOTHER figure dirty, i expected one of the MDs to rip that skinsuit off and give her the connection terminated treatment. It feels like this episode doesnt care about any character arcs NEARLY as much as V or Uzi, and that's sad that there is a possibility that the other characters are possibly STILL not safe from cyn.
Again about what they went through, it seems they just went "hey remember the drone that tormented and traumatized these tragic characters, well fear not, angsty silly grape soda teen got a lucky hit in. Yipee!" And its just so unserious and it pisses me off. Its like if freiza or cell died by choking on food or something. Its like an insult to the backstory and the build up as well as the character arcs!! Its like none of them got real justice except uzi. OH WAIT. The AS is still alive annoying the crap out of uzi!
Thanks for reading my yapping session.
6:38 So are you assuming I didn’t watch it five more times?
I've always seen it as them wrapping up the main story without wrapping up the characters. Leaving it open for them to do future projects with them.
It feels vary much like it wasn't supposed to be THE END. That there IS more story to tell and explore. The locker scene leaving so many questions. It sucks that answers it will most likely be done in some form of (likely pay walled) side media rather then a true second season. It's vary clear from GLICH Inn they want to keep using N and Uzi in side projects.
8:35 my theory about this type of black hole is that it is a simulated black hole or how i call it Null Hole. it tries to simulate how a black hole works but has almost no mass. because it dosent have that much mass it cant pull everything inside of it but it can destroy thinks that it is touching (dont really found out a good solution for that). One more thing about these Null holes is, it cant destroy everything related to the solver (Example: in ep. 7 N touches a null hole but it just does nothing just some sparkling) but the null hole i guess is a Sharp object so it could cut everything even something related to the solver, or it just simulates something really sharp idk but in the end its just a theory a film... sry wrong script.
I don't really get why everyone is so mad with the pacing. It was meant to be a final-battle type episode, and all other murder drones episodes are like 20 mins long. The thing that did make this episode the best imo is the credits song and BiteMe (the fight scene music)
I appreciated the quality of the animation and the voice acting, and the show ended in a considerably decent way, except for the cliffhanger and stuff.
My only real complaint is the reintroduction of Khan, Lizzie, and Thad. They were set up in Mass Destruction to have a crucial role in Absolute Doom, but they realistically only got a front-row seat to all the fights and didn’t do much other than deliver J. I wish they all got complete arcs and didn’t stay as wasted characters. I also didn’t like the twist of V working for the solver. I feel like it was just added in for shock and gasps, but I’m glad she turned in the end.
Also, are we not gonna talk about how beautiful Uzi looks now with that purple-yellow gradient-
“And when the ice sets in I’ll need you”
The necklace that Nori gave her was supposed to help counter Cyn being able to control her (I'm pretty sure it was the one she wore in episode 7 but she took it off because mom scary flashback)
I’ll say this until my dying breath but I personally REALLY think that this episode was a god awful finale, like when I finished the episode I was legit like "Really? That’s it? That’s how it ends?" Now I have nothing against this episode since it’s PHENOMENAL, AS AN EPISODE but as a way to send off the series?
Eh…not so much, there are many loose ends still in the air and it was just 20 minutes of fighting and NOTHING lore wise, which is fine cause I know they had to deal with a dealt hand but still, I really think this episode could have benefited from even just an extra 10 minutes of run time.
So for a rating as an episode I’ll give it a 7/8 out of 10, though as a Finale Series Ending episode I’ll give it a 3/4 out of 10. Was it a satisfying end to see everyone survive? Yeah it was! I absolutely loved the ending but did it leave me wanting and expecting far more and better, yes, it also did.
the reason its like that is so they can easily slide back into the series if at some point they want to continue it
@@floofoftheworld I’m hoping so but they seem very hard on nailing down that this is the SERIES Finale, but I do hope it returns in some form or maybe even a Season 2 but who knows.

Fully agree.
Yeah it was really rushed and obviously LOTS of unnecesary and annoying plot armour, first of all in episode 7 they kill doll for the reason that she would make the solver battle in ep 8 REALLY EASY.
The solver in ep 8 holds back so fucking much, there are numerous cases where it doesn't even fight and instead it plays with them.
Also Uzi was extremely lucky.
What disappoints me is how little screen time uzis mom got this episode ....AND DONT EVEN GET STARTED ON DOLL 😭
Nori was such a weird character for me, I will admit maybe I wasn’t paying the most attention to her character but like she destroyed planets or something? Also did she always look like that? Like do the drones give birth or do they craft their children? If so how did Nori…..
@montserratmarroquin400 no so nori I guess her main body was destroyed so her core split from her main body and she just survived as a core for a while but I have no idea the timeliness of.when nori was destroyed and when uzi was born
Feel like the only reason people like the finale is because none of the main characters died, and V came back 😂
There are so many open gaps within the series, and everything is extremely rushed and just poorly written. You can easy extend the runtime by 10 minutes from the end of episode 7 to the beginning of episode 8.
For example, they could’ve EASILY made a 10 minute gap from when uzi fell into the hole, and N getting into the spaceship to get Uzi. Or the fight between Khan, Lizzy and Thad vs J could’ve also been showed to extend the runtime.
There was so much potential they had a year to do, and they decided to not answer ANYTHING giving us more questions than answers, and everything from start to finished feels rushed.
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement, the finale was weak af.
bruh ok your opinion ig, most think it was good asf. Which I think too, I’m sad that it’s over but I’m not sad at how it ended
My man, I have to agree with you.
I feel like the fandom can't accept sad endings or bitter sweet endings I get if my fav character(s) dies but it fits in murder drones no wonder I felt like it wasn't that tragic it just the characters survive happily lives on
@@unickhSame.
@@Kiki_.IsHighI never cared for the characters being alive or death cause I knew the show wasn't hoping to killed them off
The robots can repair themselves from almost anything so Vs fake out death was cheap to me, if J can survive what would I think the same couldn't happend to other characters?
i loved murder drones! only issue is that the series as a whole seemed to lack direction with hits story. didnt help that it didnt have enough time to have filler to fully flesh out the characters and such. over all though i enjoyed it and am glad liam got to make one of his concepts a reality!
When I watched this it was like midnight and my computer wasn't working (Fixed it now, obviously.) so I had to watch it on the tv, and let me just say that watching Murder Drones on 2/100 volume praying that one of your family members doesn't walk in is just like fnaf 4 except if you lose you don't get jumpscared, but one of your family members sees you silently cheering while weirdly hot robots and one body horror monstrosity fight each other with nightcore playing in the background.
My opinion: So close to being peak. Just 5-10 extra minutes to have more emotional character development, also if Uzi echo’ed Doll’s “Fight back” I would have genuinely screamed with joy.
Imo its a great episode, horrid finale, we have no clue about what the solver really is or what its motivation was, J, like in general, her revival could've been cut and nothing would have really changed (shes a wasted character in general) also the scene with Uzi and N crash landing into the planet so fast they caught on fire shows they dont really care about lore, it was outright stated in episode 1 that heat kills D.D's and last i checked fires pretty hot.
Did anyone notice nobody actually died this episode? Like that’s not a bad thing but for a show called Murder Drones the finale didn’t have drones do a lot of murder.
Me and my friends actual ep 8 predictions:
Neutral ending: ❌
V comes back on a sentinel (no idea how we got this right):✅
Nuzi:✅
Yeva is alive: ❌
Cyn dies: ✅ and ❌ (she didn't exactly die but she did lose at the end)
Episode 8 really (mostly) works to compliment 7. Mostly vid you view it as a 'two in one' (especially since they *were* meant to released together). Largely I’m just agreeing with Yagsterr for the most part.
V’s hallway scene…that was something special.
@@EclipseVenexusV was the best in this episode. Change my mind
But yeah I also agree with Yagsterr for the most part. The finale was very fun to watch. Im kinda sad that it was rushed but whatever not everything is perfect.
Still its my 2nd favorite episode in the series
It was a bit weak and feels rushed but at least we got a new episode even tho it was a finale
I honestly was kinda dissapointed, but otherwise the animation was E P I C and so was the fights, it was just that it didnt really answer any questions and it kinda left us in the dark consudering that there wont be a season two. But thats my opinion
I miss waiting years for a exciting episode comes out😭😭😭😭
i felt like they rushed the last few parts, not rushed to get the eps out but rushed to get to the end of the series, it feels like a lot of stuff was condensed for this reason.
but i still enjoyed it.
If you told fans when episode 3 came out that the series finale
came out in the future they would EXPLODE bc nobody expected it to even
get that far, not saying they did not it want to.
I think the writing of this episode could've been great if uzi N and V hug each other when they defeated cyn and the cyn fight should've been longer
"if you already watched the finale,go watch it 50 more times because it will never get old" true
Honestly, not peak, but not even close to weak. It’s pretty high up. Also I’m just happy she was 100% confirmed to be left handed in the finale. You have no idea how hard it is to find a left handed protagonist that isn’t part of a game I can’t care to play.
I was just left confused and wished that V should’ve stayed dead. That could’ve been an extra motivation that shows that anyone could die on this journey to destroy cyn…even though cyn is still alive as a tail….YEP. I kinda wanted khan to die too for reasons I will not elaborate on
*STILL WISH J COULDVE DONE MORE.*
Because it's not a black hole it's a null pocket/null black hole they probably the physics of reality to get something with basically no data which is kind of half described by a black hole so it makes sense why it would look kind of like a black hole
Episode 8 was nice but like you said Uzi's power up just felt out of left field. Tbh i was genuently hoping for cyn to get a half win (like they save the planet but there is a big cost). It felt more right for Cyn to win because it felt erned, she's set up as super stron, was shown to contol uzi, destroyed the one thing that could save uzi from her control (well until the belive in yourselfe bs in episode 8). Our protagonists win just didnt fell that earned
The only sad part is that it's the finale. I wish we got more, but well, gotta do with what we got ig
Btw the EPIC music that’s playing is called Bite me! Night core so if you wanna listen to this banger
I couldn't agree with you more. 👍
7:10 At this scene i believe the music cue that plays is “Falling for You” the same cue that played back in episode four when Uzi and N were falling after N saved V’s life. Just pointing this out to say, maybe Uzi has hinted repressed feelings for V as well as N
For me It isn't good or bad Looks like a season finale
It was good but I was hoping for a bittersweet or the cosmic horror ending
*Its lacking storyline but animation is at peak. Too bad that they are going to waste these good concept for a potential to be a good storyline that can compete against anime*
I honestly hope they do a spin off just to explain any un answered questions.
I feel like them just leaving murder drones to rest instead of making it a corporate thing would be better to properly morn the loss of Liam Vickers who died last year in a car crash... there is a whole arbitrary on his death... I hope that his family gets atleast some of the profits from murder drones' success and that the gaslight district and Digital Circus can carry Glitch.
Liam its not death
@@DX-222 you sure? have you heard from him in over a year? the arbitrary said he died in October of 2023.

Peak Episode and WEAK Finale
9:30 You're right about the horror in this episode but I think they could've left N's head attached to really drive home the fear factor.
We know they heal when damaged, especially when you take off their head. If they had left N's head attached while he was being ripped apart, I wouldn't have been able to sleep at night
will willl do,sure i will watch it 50 more times since like.. IT'S SO GOOD TO AWETCH IT WHEN U AHVE NOTHING TO DO is likea show that never gets old like realy
The black hole didnt make sense, but Uzi being able to get out of cobtrol makes sense. From everything we have seen, its safe to assume that its based on emotions. I wont go too deep into it, but bad emotions make it easier to control, and good emotions make it harder to control.
Episode 8 was nearly perfect There were a few Character arcs that could have been dragged on a little longer though, One of those being the relationship between N a cyn There Was obviously a lot of tension between them Not to mention cyn Betrayed N Not to Mention killed one of his closest friends That being Tessa, And Even though cyn Wasn't trying to add insult to injury But she used Tessa's body As a puppet Adding the illusion N Had to fight 2 people, He cared about and knew for a long time
Yeah a bit rushed and a lot of side plots felt force ended but overall pretty satisfying for a finale
Angry wall of text.
There were so many plot holes, and something I see no one mentioning, but the dialogue between characters is HORRIBLE imo (mostly N & Uzi). The characters feel so 1-dimensional compared to previous episodes, and all dialogue feels like it's talking to the viewers, not to the characters ("I'm a damaged OC"). The fact that V survived is retarded, if she had a clone or something that would make sense, but there was no way she would survive that, especially since she stopped fighting back and gave up for the sacrifice (Ironically I think she was the best written character by far in the episode though, aside from Cyn). The animation is amazing, but their models are so much more bouncy and it gives tadc vibes ("SPACESHIP PILOT!!!"). Also I don't like the newer facial expressions, but that's a minor nitpick. The comedy gags felt awful, the sentinel and handshake one completely took me out of the episode. This is a common criticism of the show, but all other episodes did it perfectly imo. Ex. ep 4, Uzi is fighting V, music dies down, lizzie groans and gets blown up, music swells back into action with the scene. Short 3 Second gag. In the FINALE, the music abruptly stops, the sentinel annoys lizzie, for 10 sec, then immediate cut back to music & scene, then IMMEDIATELY SWITCH to another 10s gag. (Not to mention the sentinel is not acting like a sentinel, ik its the weird red one, but still.) The ending being an extremely cliche "and that's my story of how I did x" killed me inside, one of the reasons I love MD is because it felt like was no cliches, and it felt super unique and fresh. Not to mention everyone is alive AND THE PLANET IS BACK TO NORMAL?????? imo by far the worst episode, which is a shame because I think the fights and moments with cyn are the series' absolute best. I will still hold the previous 7 episodes very close to my heart, they are amazing and actually changed my life, but I have a indefinite amount of coping to get through with this abysmal writing. How could Liam throw so hard at the final episode idk. I wouldn't have cared that the episode was super rushed if everything in the episode was good, but that wasn't the case. That's not all I have to say but I'm too tired to write more and this is a huge comment that is going straight to the bottom of the section anyway. Cyn hard carries the episode ez.
It was a good and funny send off(also why does cyn always have the :3 face)
I wasn’t surprised or angry at the lack of screen time for J, but was angry at the complete bastardization of her character arc, she was supposed to have a redemption arc, not be perfectly fine with Cyn wearing her Best Friends Corpse like a Suit, it would’ve made sense if she was possessed or maybe coerced into siding with Cyn, But did they do that? No, They pulled a “J just wanted to be on the winning team” out of their asses, but aside from that, The finale was pretty well made.
Finally somebody agrees with me about J. I swear the writers must beat it to not giving her screen time or character arcs because this is insane
I think it’s implied she’s scared of cyn and doesn’t think they have a chance of beating her since there’s no real way to kill her for good, but still they should have expanded upon that.
To be fair if we saw it from J's perspective she was heavily forced to work alongside her since we saw in EP 5 when Tessa went to confront the Solver it changed its form and took control of all the drones in the gala, including J herself who was being controlled to shut the exit off and watch as Tessa was massacred along with all the other attendants then used as a human skinsuit for Cyn.
Not only was she possessed but as well in EP 6 when they all met up she says "Effective drones were cloned more" which is to just say the Solver has backups of them as it mentioned before about N. So even if she did try defying its orders, she just be brutally torn apart and put back together again "You know there is no escape even in death!".
In the finale J is alone and has to stick by the Solver's side in order to have hope on living on. She did try to give V a chance to join her being the only other person she would accept as company after it all ends. She already closed herself off with N and Uzi from her previous interactions with them.
So to me it made sense WHY J would talk about "being on the winning team" slick with how hopeless it seemed to stand against it but I do agree they COULD had J have one last moment of her character, the part of her that was so closely bonded to Tessa and tried to at least make a stand against Cyn even if it didn't do anything in the battle it would of justified her role slightly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny that I am not that big of a fan for J yet can see why people will defend her character especially comparing her to what the Solver/Cyn had done and the potential for growth she could of had but unfortunately the dinner plate was already full with Uzi, N and V taking the screen time and character developments.
At the very least with what was given, J is still alive as seen in the after-credits trying to repair the ship by herself. Season 2 isn't confirmed but personally I think they left it open for fans to write their own fanfictions or comics to do whatever with J in that moment and maybe have her give closure off for the way she acted to the main group if they were to meet each other again.
The finale wasn’t good man, the finale was *AMAZING*
I absolutely love the finale, flaws and all. It was lovely but I was a little confused at how….rosy it felt. Idk it felt hella wholesome considering just how dark and morbid the situation really was and there were times that n and uzi were goofing off when they really shouldn’t have. They never showed how n got out of the mines, nor if he really killed nori, who got less screen time than she needed. I was completely surprised j was working with cyn. I think everyone expected her to be livid when she finds out cyn is literally wearing her best friends skin as an outfit, but she didn’t. I’m also still confused at how uzi broke free from cyns control and can use nulls all of a sudden.
I don’t hate the finale and if anything I found it to be lovely and an amazing conclusion to the show (also nuzi bias because sjjwsjdjwisj it was adorable) but it has flaws that could have easily been fixed with a liiiiitle bit of extra runtime. I’ll miss it though, it was amazing while it lasted and it’ll always have a special place in my heart
Peak, Next question
Felt like it was rushed, but I did love the fight against Cyn
I'm still not entirely sure myself, I love it as a finale. But by god does it have alot of holes in it. I think I'm content though, I'm more then happy to accept it, even with all the flaws
Peak. Cant change my mind.
"You cant just blow a hole into the surface of Mars" -some random guy from DOOM Eternal whose name i forgot.
While i agree the finale was pretty good, (im pretty sure im wrong abt this because i dont understand how solver works at all) i find it weird how they solved Uzi getting possesed by Cyn by just telling her to "not to be a coward", that means that all the things that happened in episode 6-7 related to a patch - cure, meant nothing for the plot
Its a maguffin for a reason. But the only info we can say that since nori has the patch in her programing, some of that program is already pased down in uzi from the start which is why i believe uzi is able to at time resist or despell cyn control based on her mental state. Considering that in episode 7 she broke free just by will alone makes what nori said not so far fetched.
@@jourdanfarquharson4697In the episode she literally creates her own Version of the patch by Backfiring Cyn's posession, Uzi herself became another Absolute solver
That's why at the end Cyn stays in Uzi's tail, Cyn doesn't have the absolute anymore which explains why the solver's symbol changed in the end, it's now Uzi's, Not Cyn's
@@jourdanfarquharson4697 oh wait this actually makes sense ty
are we not gonna think HOW THE HELL DID N AND UZI SURVIVED!? THEY WERE LITERALLY ON FIRE, in ep 1 N said if he came out the sun will destroy him and here we see N BURNING and he is like fine and for Uzi is going too because she too can overheat like other murder drones
If you look at her face in the last episode before the end episode, you will see that she got Admin Privileges which means that she can create black holes that's something that you missed
I didn’t quite see what khan did in that moment, but he did deserve to get the last laugh at cyn, since he’s the sole reason N even survived the episode.
So... what rating would you give the episode? And the rest of the series?
Peak. No question.
They could do small non-canon shorts, like Helluva boss is doing now, and some specials.
Ok so how I saw the episode was that the Main plot got most of the Action and Horror, while the b plot trio (Khan, Thad, and Lizzy) got most of the Comedy.
For me the absoloute finale episode was absoloute cinem-
Cyn was both menacing and funny
it was amazing! the animation was peak fiction.
As a person who waited till the finale to watch the show for the first times perspective.
Peak
Uzi and N got that The Fallen special
