She's so powerfully beautiful, watching her devours all your senses. God, Deborah Corday, what a goddess of a beautiful woman. And what a brilliant aerobics expert!
Yeah, this was just before eastern philosophy in particular Tantra started to take root here in the US. I remember being big into Rajneesh's books, and Dynamic Meditation, which is largely aerobics based. The idea that sex could be explored as a form of spirituality seemed a more valid process than abstinence. I'm mean... who can refrain from sex? The music in the series captures the flavor of that particular time unlike anything else. The women here can ne seen contextually as facilitators in the process of Tantric meditation, with Deborah Corday obviously being the 'high priestess.'
I use to always watch and do these, and yes the music was great. wish I could get it. that's what really made it fun. you forgot you were really exercising.
I was a young teenager back when this video came out on Showtime; I don't know about Deborah Corday's heart rate during this exercise, but it got mine pumped. She was my favorite on this show. I learned years later that she got involved with Animal Alliance; a non-profit to rescue and re-home cats... those darn lucky cats. 🥰🥰🥰
It's so hard to believe this was over 40-years ago! I remember skipping school my first days just to watch Deborah Corday. I couldn't help myself. This video along with the other solo one where she's in the skimpy black leotard sporting a huge wedgie, assail the senses in a way that can only be described as primal. The mere sight of her is enough set fire to the imagination even now.
Never saw this show before. I did watch 20 min workout. My ex would start my day (I worked nights) with a mug of coffee by my bed, and 20min workout on tv. Then she was rewarded with me starting her day. I was already in great shape but after divorce('88), I took an aerobics class at the local JC. Looking back at these I see the difference then and now. Those girls were not just young and beautiful, but they were fit and healthy. Clean with no body mutilations( tattoos, piercings) etc. I'm 65yrs old now, lucky to be well, and I feel for todays youth. They don't know what they don't know. I don't accept that this was porn, but appreciacion of form, in the most basic sense. The ability of these girls to perform for 20min at that pace/intencity is evidence of my point. I work at a (24hr) facility with couple hundred people. Most youth are overweight out of shape. Only those of you who have done this kind of workout/ training know what I mean. Well, basics, good luck to you all.
It's an extended version of "The Hills of Kathmandu" by Tantra. I don't know offhand if Shiva remixed it, or if it was a version of the original. Very good song from the late 70s, definitely a good choice for dance workouts.
Take notice gentlemen, this is what women looked like before the epidemic of tattoo'ed, silicone implanted, obese land whales that dare to call themselves women these days. Putting a tattoo on a beautiful woman, is like defacing a Ferrari with graffiti.

I really don’t know WHY but I keep coming back to aerobicise clips...
Because they're well-made, aesthetically pleasing, and oddly motivating.

What is the name of this song playing?
I don't know the name of the song but the artist is Shiva, hard to find!
