I hope I can do a Colorado road trip next summer (fly out, rent a car, drive around). I’ve gotten to fly to Denver several years ago and flew over the Rocky Mountains…soooo beautiful! I definitely want to stop at Buc-ee’s while there! I personally liked the brisket breakfast tacos more than the bbq brisket sandwiches!
I used to live in Colorado, and about the 85 octane gas--I got better mileage (a good 5 mpg better) in Colorado than the gas in California, where I now live. Not sure why that is, but I wish I lived back in Colorado now. LOL
YOU amaze me, man. Incredible love of country! Inspiring.
thanks for bringing us along for the ride
Thanks for watching!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Grandpa and the family.
You're making me a little homesick. Just a little, though. I actually ran screaming from COS years ago. Many reasons. 🤣

All their food is amazing there! Definitely the best gas station food I've ever had!
I hope they build a Buc-ee's in Cali someday.
US 6 used to go over the Dillon Dam before the interstate was put through.
I did not know that fact, thanks for sharing!
Hope you & your grandpa enjoyed y'all trip in Colorado. BTW, it seems some of the footage here was before your grandpa's cap got gone with the wind.
It was lost the very next day! Don’t worry, he got a replacement LOL
$212. You spent at Buckies! That’s my guess!
That's really close to what we both spent combined!
Did you get any jerky there? Amazing mass assortment of jerky department. You spent $38.17. (LOL, right)
I'm not a big jerky fan. I'm sure it's good though!

I found on my road trips that I always get better mpg in Colorado. Maybe there is less wind resistance due to elevation?
Hi, can you share the Brand or model of your 4k camera? Thanks for your videos... a follower from Monterrey, MX
The driving videos are filmed with a Sony FDR AX-53. And the vlogging videos are filmed with a Song a7RIV
Im not sure but i believe the lower octane may be due to higher elevation areas
Somebody correct me if im wrong
75 dollars not including the gas !
That’s a good guess! I forgot to mention to not include the price of gas in the guess and thanks for pointing it out :)
