Your an amazing teacher, I love the way you explain the process of learning a song properly. I'm enjoying going through this piano book again at a much slower pace, than when I used it years ago having lessons. Thank you again for making us better piano players. I really appreciate all the time and effort you have put in with each page of this book. Your a legend!!
Ah Ha! Just discovered your incredible body of work. I've been intending to learn piano, having just retired, & chose this book as a starting point. I've been working on this piece & its predecessors unsupported till now. Boy just realised I'd missed some of the learning intentions that you'd mentioned herein for this particular piece. OK I'm now subscribing & will follow your support & structured teaching with gratitude throughout the remainder of Level 1 & thereafter. A real BIG thankyou for the time & effort you've put into not only supporting this Alfred's book, but I notice you've also done L2 & L3 as well. Thank you for your dedication to playing & remote teaching this instrument, bravo!!
I appreciate you telling us things we wouldn't know unless we have private lessons (which even in NY is somehow hard as hell to find), like turning your torso in piano. Very helpful. I wouldn't have know that
Watched many videos on UA-cam in the last two months since I started learning piano. I've found most of the stuff I've watched useful however your methods and approach to learning have by far been the most useful I've seen. As I continue through the Alfred series of books I look forward to viewing more of your videos
I appreciate a lot of what youre saying. I wasnt playing up an octave, but I sure will now, since you made it clear what the intention of that bit is. I gotta learn to move!
You are welcome. It is a Cherub, model WMT-220. It is an old one and not available anymore. There is another Cherub model with lights. It is WMT-230, which might still be available. I like the Long Beach Music Digital Metronome and Pitch Generator. It has lights that go sideways.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! What brand of metronome are you using? I love the led display!

You're welcome.
This song sounds better without the pedal, much better, do you agree?
It is personal. Everybody likes different sounds.
For some reason, the slowest songs are the hardest to learn
This song just sounds so ugly
