    18:00 I don't understand how come the soul knows where to born and the future of their body. despite of having the same aatma we don't have basic knowledge and most of us spend our lives wasting time here and there earning money and spending it. how come our aatma knows the future I can understand if it chooses the body or I may say parents but how can it see?

    • @AuroMaa
      @AuroMaa  2 роки тому +1

      The soul knows the where and when or to whom not through the awareness of physical space which is ordinarily our way of knowing things but through soulscapes, discerning things through soul-vibrations, looking into its past and the need of future experience not through an elaborate step by step mental planning but a general sense of what it needs to go through. It does not see as much as feels it. It does not think as much as senses it by an intrinsic sense. Yet it carries within it a point of light that is far more accurate than the mind. It does not, for instance think that I must go about earning money but simply to exhaust or else experience what a life surrounded by riches means. While the mind and vital of man experiences such a life in their own ignorant way, the embodied soul understands through this experience the possibilities and limitations of such a life solely with regard to the blossoming of the divinity within it.

    how we can know that we have psychic being

    • @AuroMaa
      @AuroMaa  2 роки тому +1

      By trying to discover it. That is the only way to be sure. If one is endowed with strong faith and devotion towards the Divine, if one has a genuine Godward tum, one can be reasonably sure that the psychic being is active. Its characteristic sign is a Godward turning, a seeking for truth and beauty and good, a warmth and sweetness in the heart as if a secret spring of love had been opened within. If one has experienced any of these things one can be sure that the psychic being within oneself is active and trying to press towards the surface.

      Not incarnation but as Vibhutis. It is mentioned in a letter to Nagin Doshi but also in the volume Sri Aurobindo on Himself. I got delayed because I thought I will take out all other relevant material but that would take time which is in short supply right now.
      Amal Kiran has written quite a detailed article on this. Nolini da has also written here and there. Sri Aurobindo avoided sharing these personal truths, presumably due to the general vast impersonality that he always carries within. The Mother, on the other hand, leaning down to us in profound love has shared a few of details of Her previous lives in the Mother's Agenda.
      The most complete article on the subject is written by Anurag Banerjee: savitri.in/blogs/light-of-supreme/the-former-incarnations-of-sri-aurobindo-and-the-mother-by-anurag-banerjee

    @AuroMaa Sri aurobindo has not prescribed any method of Saadhna/practice except surrender to Divine Mother. This can't happen as a starting point. It is very true that Divine Mother does all the saadhana, this happens only when ego is vanished and total surrender is made. As long as ego is present, Chances of getting remained lost are very high, if there are no systematic daily practices in any path of Yoga... Total Surrender is utmost difficult. Divine Mother will make you to surrender, if u hv received spark (on day1) and turned into fire with sustained efforts.. once this happens, you are ready for Full Divine Grace. Divine Mother takes care of All Saadhana and worldly life from this point onward.. 🙏🌹 But who imparts initial spark (initiation) to ignite the inner fire in Sri Aurobindo method of practice.. self-ignition is rare among the rarest.. Not all can receive spark directly from God.. There is no mention of Guru-Shishya parampra or deeksha in Sri Aurobindo method of practice.. i do no see any starting point (receiving spark) in Sri Aurobindo method of integral yoga..
    There are high chances person remaining lost in imaginary world while following Sri Aurobindo path of Yoga...

    • @AuroMaa
      @AuroMaa  2 роки тому +1

      The spark in Sri Aurobindo's yoga comes from within in the form of 'Call for this Yoga'. What is meant by this is that the person has an inner conviction that this is what he is meant to do. Another sign is the recognition of the Mother's divinity. For the Mother of whom Sri Aurobindo constantly speaks of in this yoga is Her present embodiment who is generally referred to as the Mother of Sri Aurobindo Ashram to avoid confusion with other embodiments of the Mother as also with the Divine Mother in Her Transcendent and Universal aspects alone. Each creature belongs to Her and the World Mother takes care of them in countless ways. Even what we call as effort, including effort to surrender or concentrate or do, tapasya comes from Her because there is but One Power that animates and governs all.
      As the Transcendent Mother it is by Her Grace that one can leap beyond the cosmic fence into the infinity of the Divine. These things are not a child's play that one can do it without help from the Grace and the doors to the direct workings of Her Grace opens through surrender. To believe that only after one has conquered the ego can one surrender to the Mother is an adverse suggestion that wants the empire of the ego to continue indefinitely. It is by our surrender to Her that the ego abdicates. Otherwise, the game of ego continues under countless garbs.
      Besides, the path of yoga is besieged by challenges from seen and unseen realms and forces before which human intelligence is like a candle in front of the stars. Better not to overestimate oneself and stay humble and seek Her Help at every step. In fact the Divine Mother prefers this rather than supplying the effort indirectly hiding behind veils of the ego that make us believe that we are doing the sadhana. If surrender to the Divine Mother is difficult then conquering the ego is not only difficult but impossible. Such has been the experience and wisdom of countless seers and sages right from the days of the Upanishads to our modern times in the colossal spiritual genius of Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Aurobindo. Surely they knew much better than us.
      But in Sri Aurobindo's yoga something more is needed. It is to the present embodiment of the Divine Mother that one surrenders because She is empowered to transform humanity and raise this earthly life into the Life Divine. If one seeks liberation alone then it is a different matter but if one seeks the transformation of earthly life then one simply follows what the Supramental Avatar reveals to us. For the rest there are countless approaches but as far as this yoga is concerned, Sri Aurobindo has not left the central secret of the integral yoga ambiguous.
      In his own words,
      'Self-surrender to the divine and infinite Mother, however difficult, remains our only effective means and our sole abiding refuge. Self-surrender to her means that our nature must be an instrument in her hands, the soul a child in the arms of the Mother.'
      and in the Mother’s words:
      'The supramental change is a thing decreed and inevitable in the evolution of the earth-consciousness; for its upward ascent is not ended and mind is not its last summit. But that the change may arrive, take form and endure, there is needed the call from below with a will to recognise and not deny the Light when it comes, and there is needed the sanction of the Supreme from above. The power that mediates between the sanction and the call is the presence and power of the Divine Mother. The Mother's power and not any human endeavour and tapasya can alone rend the lid and tear the covering and shape the vessel and bring down into this world of obscurity and falsehood and death and suffering Truth and Light and Life divine and the immortal's Ananda.'

      @@AuroMaai m bit confused with your mention of Mother Mira of your Ashram as only embodiment of Divine Mother..
      या देवी सर्वभूतेषु मातृ-रूपेण संस्थिता।
      नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥
      Divine Mother is always ever present on this earth in various Saakaar Divine form.. Without Her presence, life on earth would not sustain.
      स्त्रियः समस्ताः सकला जगत्सु ।
      If Divine Mother has menifested Her Divya Prakash in the form of Mother Mira of Aurobindo Ashram. Divine Mother was also present in the form of Mata Aanandmayi. Similarly She keeps menifesting her Divinity through various spiritual beings in female form. Therefore , it does not seem correct to say that surrender is needed only in front of Mother Mira in order to surrender to Divine Mother.
      असतो माँ सद्गमय । तमसो माँ ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ॥
      Quest for Divine life on this earth with immortality is not something new, it is infact सनातन साधना की गुप्त धारा, which is flowing through 1000s of years starting from Upnishad age...🙏🌹

    • @AuroMaa
      @AuroMaa  2 роки тому +1

      I am glad you mention this and there is no doubt about it. What you speak of is the Universal Mother whom countless yogis have come in contact with and found the royal path to liberation from the bonds of fear and ignorance. She is everywhere and in everything. She is One and yet manifests on all planes of creation from the gracious Tripurasundari of the Dashmahavidyas and Siddhidatri of the Kundalini to the lowest planes as Dhoomavati and Kali. All creation is Her endless act and Her infinite Glory can never be captured by any scripture and stuti. Beyond Her universal aspect, She is the Parameswari, the supreme Shakti of the Parameswara, the supreme Divine Nature or the Paraprakriti of the Gita. Yet, though Transcendent and Supreme, though Universal as the World Mother, from time to time She incarnates some portion or degree of Her Force to carry on the evolutionary journey of the earth, lokasangraharth as the Gita says. These are many earthly embodiments and incarnations whose names continue to inspire mankind. Savitri, Sita, Draupadi, Radha are some of them. Or to use the more recent ones, we have Anandamayi Maa, Sharada Maa, or even heroic personalities embodying Her Kali aspect as Jhansi ki Rani, Durgavati, or as reformists and queens empress who changed the world in better ways such as Catherine the great of Russia, Hatsheput of Egypt, Ahilyabai of the Marattha empire and such others. These incarnations take place when a certain specific work is to be done upon earth which cannot be done otherwise. This is so because while the Transcendent and Universal Mother are omnipotent, yet one needs an earthly body and being to hold this Force and direct this tremendous Power for the intended work. Therefore She who is beyond, the ultimate Secret Wisdom and Might assumes a human body from time to time for a specific work.
      It is thus and with this background that one has to see the birth and work of Mother Mirra. She too is a descent or an incarnation of the Supreme Mother who came charged with the mandate of transforming earthly life through the Supramental manifestation. This earthly mission was specific to this form of HER so to say and hence it is through Her that this will be accomplished and is on the way to its fulfilment. There is no contradiction here with regard to the other forms of Her manifestation, each of which had a particular purpose that could be fulfilled only through that embodiment. Otherwise Her advent (as also the advent of the Ishwara as the Avatar) would be meaningless. It is this mystery of the incarnation, the Avatar, that is so beautiful and unique to Sanatan Dharma since it allows for the evolutionary progression of the Divine unfolding in Creation itself, the lila. Rama and Krishna are the same and yet there is a difference in the work they came to do, the Age and the type of humanity they were addressing and the aspects of the Divine they manifested. So too Shiva and Vishnu are the same yet they represent different aspects of the One Infinite. The beauty of Sanatan Dharma is that it does not forget the uniqueness of each elemnt of creation even when always remembering the essential unity. It knows that God dwells in all and yet knows the distinction between the workings of God in Duryodhana and in Arjuna. It knows that the Divine though forever the Same Immutable Lord yet moves ever forwards in His Manifested worlds through Vibhutis and Avatars. Mother Mirra, understood in this sense is the Avatar of the Divine Mother who has come with the mission and the mandate of earthly transformation. So if that is what one aspires for then it is through surrender to her (as an embodiment of the Divine Mother entrusted with a particular work) that one undertakes the yoga journey. But if one seeks liberation or any other worldly and other worldly boons then there are several other aspects who can grant this if one knows how to truly surrender.
      As to immortality, that is about the immortality of the soul which has been known since the Vedic age. Time to time both Asuras and Devas tried this, one by eliminating the physical conditions of death as tried by the Asuras and another by discovering the secret elixir of immortality. In Sri Aurobindo's yoga the main thing is divinisation of nature including the body. Immortality is a side result and physical immortality the last crowning victory. But the real thing is not immortality but divinisation. Else if one gets immortality without a change of consciousness it would be disastrous. That is what the Asuras tried but was denied to them.

    How does a thief surrender to police? Only When he realizes that there is no other way to escape and police will shoot him... Then only he surrender..
    Similarly, when we can have total surrender to Divine Mother? It can happen only when we realize extreme limit of our mental, vital, physical, ego existence.. Path of surrender is very tough and easier said than done...

    • @AuroMaa
      @AuroMaa  2 роки тому +1

      A thief surrenders to the police when he has no options left but a child surrenders to his mother out of love and trust. This does not mean that the child has to make no effort or that his mother will spare him the labour needed to grow. Yet there is a great difference when the effort is egoistic and one is compelled before circumstances with no option left but to surrender to the Divine. Once circumstances are fine then the surrender is often recalled and one goes one's way just as the thief. But the child's surrender is not circumstantial but intuitive and instinctive. Of course it is difficult for the ego to surrender but easy or difficult, for the purposes of the Integral yoga it remains a mainstay. There are certainly yogas that do not need one to actively surrender as they rely almost exclusively on personal effort. But that does not make it any easier. In fact it is far more difficult to pursue the yoga through tapasya which is very arduous when one has to do it all by oneself. Therefore the Divine has opened the path and the possibility of surrender, the path of faith and love and devotion and service. It is to make things easy for us. effort is still needed but the path becomes joyous and smoother. That is all. Of course some prefer the hard path of tapasya believing that it is their own efforts that won them the merit. The Divine allows it if such be the turn of our being.
