Abhi and Niyu, wishing you good luck for your hard work you are putting in. It's quite hard to make such lengthy videos. The topic you have chosen between India and Maldives is also nice. However, the things you have mentioned in your videos which are going to affect India is fine and it is a blessing in disguise. India accepted it when the Maldivians voted an anti India party. See, these are governments which are puppets of countries like China. They individually get huge funds and these in future affect the country. Maldivians are going to pay the price. The cost will rise when raw foods from Turkey and other countries can't match the price what India provides, much due to the vicinity as the shipping costs are low. We can sell that stock to many countries and will earn more. In addition to this, China will engulf Maldives with loan traps and own the islands just like they did with Sri Lanka and many more. They don't need drones from Turkey but they still are buying it because there is some interest of countries that are maneuvering the puppet Maldives top official to keep India at bay. Such hate filled governments don't last long and will be changed by their people itself. Even hospitalizations will be expensive as they will have to fly to China, Gulf or surrounding countries. Moreover, the Lakshwadeep islands will benefit and Kerala will be in profit as well because the tourists not only travel into Lakshwadeep but also the gods own country. This will help boost our tourism and economy. Plus, indians will be spending on their own country rather than boosting Maldives economy. The only thing which will worry India is the sea route which China will get access to. Though, certain measures will stop that too and a pro India Maldivian government can help in that. And if the Maldivian government becomes a humongous threat then last option will be capturing it. The last option will not come into play as this current 🇲🇻 govt. will not live long. Thanks.

According to a data Maldivian has highest number of people (per capita) involved in terrorism around the world. An island with a population of 5 Lakhs has more than 400 persons joining ISIS. In India with a Muslim population of 20 crore the number is around 100. See the level of radicalisation. Maldivian have been involved in 2005 IIS Bangalore Bomb blast💣, 26/11 Mumbai attack🔫 and in Kashmir few terrorists killed by Indian security forces ⚔️were Maldivian.
Wife of Mizzu (Sajida Mohamed) is the sister of head of Jamiyyath Salaf (A radical organisation) in Maldives. So you can understand his ideology. Also a number of Maldivian are involved in Iraq-Syria conflict. Mizzu travel to Turkey to bring them back. He has also introduced Islamic education in Maldives from this year.
Tourist are directly flown to the private islands and they have 0 idea about the country. There are many articles reporting cases where tourists have been arrested, beaten/ assaulted when they cross the limit of the tourism zone. So be ready for a new Pakistan.

What is the problem to withdraw armed forces from Maldives? There is no proper/sound relationship between India and the surrounding countries of India. Higher income groups from China, Russia, Middle East would travel to Maldives for an experience but not repeat trips as they would to Dubai, Paris, London, US due to real estate investments and/or shopping along with a vacation.
Maldives can most certainly volunteer for the Belt and Road initiative but with heightened risk of submergence due to rapid impact of global warming - China will at best develop a few resorts and a port/air base to build on their footprint in the Indian Ocean region along with a listening post given the Western Command of the Indian Navy having bases at a stone's throw distance. Trade is going to be one sided, basically a dump philosophy.
Maldives can most certainly import essential food grains from Turkey at an added cost to the end customers due to increased shipping costs and with the current volatility in the Turkish economy, not the best idea to rely solely on one source - as we saw with the Ukraine being a Wheat supplier. Furthermore, with heightened tensions in the Red Sea / Strait of Hormuz - shipping cost are bound to increase (increased insurance/under-writing costs) and shipping companies deciding to avoid the Suez Canal / Strait of Hormuz lines taking the longer route through Cape of Good Hope.
Maldives can most certainly import medications from Europe/US at the local retail prices which aren't subsidized even if Patent Protected as is the case with India, where life-saving drugs can retail at fraction of the price. Similarly total cost of medical treatment in UAE is on par with European standards (nevertheless top-notch) and Thailand being cheaper will still cost more than India.
So all the bravado by the current ruling party in Maldives whilst helps with populist propaganda and chest thumping nationalism, the risk exposure and cost to the average Maldivian is going to be the unfortunate collateral in the bargain.
to be fair, industry experts say indian tourists are destroying maldives as a high-end destination bcx Indians don't spend much. here, it's a unique tourism model. the tourism model is not dependent on headcount. and also not designed for backpackers. so the head count doesnt really matter if they are not spending. it's more like a relaxation and a private party destination for the rich. so the business leaders want to replace it with other Nationalities as pre covid. it's also not like the other market segments has fallen significantly. it's more like more Indians than before are visiting the local islands. which is a great thing but alot of business leaders see it as a distraction.
and regarding the healthcare, it's free universal healthcare for all citizens. the gov foots the bill most of which goes to India now close to 100 million dollars. India has been a great neighbor but the most locals wants to move to better options now. all locals speak hindi and feel greatly connected to Indians. if not for the Indian military presence issue, to which almost all locals felt India is forcefully staying without even wanting to negotiate. the irony is the locals would have never even thought of seeking any other option bcx it was a working relationship. thouh Indian projects were slow to realize than like the Chinese, there were no real complaints as the locals mostly identify as Indians in ethnicity. but now the locals feel bullied by a regional super power. u might differ but that's what the locals feel. i hope it gets resolved 🙏

Maldives has an unique tourism model, as is the case with most remote tropical island destinations. Though, I can't wrap my head around the claim that Indians (or any particular demographic) not spending money whilst in Maldives. Most high-end resorts offer an all-inclusive package, so you pay upfront and all of your lodging and boarding needs are taken care of. Maldives or for that matter of fact, any nation has the sovereign right to target any particular demographic that they believe will infuse their economy with tourism dollars.
Now the crux of the current spat has to do with certain elected public servants taking a jibe at the democratically elected head of parliament of another sovereign country promoting tourism in a particular region of his country. This promotion was directly a target of slander, further exacerbated with scatting attack at a personal level. I believe elected public servants have a duty towards their electorates; particularly so in a democracy which by definition is "Of the People, By the People and For the People".
Several sovereign nations provide their citizens with 100% government funded universal healthcare, so the question here is about total cost of the universal healthcare. As I mentioned several countries in Asia provide on par (or even better healthcare) than other regions - though, it does come with an associated cost. Ultimately, it is the cost to the economy doesn't matter if the medical bills are footed by an individual or collectively by the state. But it is not my place or that of anyone to comment on the fiscal or domestic policies of any sovereign nation.
Hence, I reiterate that the current spat was result of a direct and punitive slander against another sovereign nation, it's people and it's elected Head of Parliament.
The Indian Armed Forces is the second largest in terms of personnel and fourth largest in terms of equipment and personnel put together. So stationing 75 odd armed forces personnel and one-two helicopters most certainly does not constitute to bullying or attempted at threatening the territorial sovereignty of Maldives. They wanted India to close this base and repatriate it's personnel and equipment, which is entirely the prerogative of Maldivian Government and it's people - they don't owe an explanation to anyone.
Similarly, Indians deciding out of their own accord/free-will to boycott a certain tourist destination as a result of certain actions of the elected public servants is entirely the prerogative of the people of India. Now, how the rest of the world decides to view it - is certainly of no concern or consequence either to Indians or the elected government of India.
Maldivians in the past might have felt some level of kinship with Indians, due to historical ties and/or perceived ethnic similarities. But ethnic similarities did not stop the bifurcation of Indian into India, Pakistan and Bangladesh or the break-up of Former Yugoslavia. Throughout history allegiances change, as priorities and needs change. Pakistan shared a fantastic relationship with China, despite being ethnically closer to India; based on their interests, world view, and shared friends and adversaries.
Lastly, I do agree with your hope of things resolving because that is in the best interest of everyone involved 🙂

indians think they own the Maldives just because they assisted the islands a couple of times. sorry but the Maldives are a free and sovereign nation and they have every right to kick out foreign troops from their country.
My Observation:
1. India always supported Maldives in return Maldives minister abused India and Indian.
2. India and Indians are also not weak. We are also growing and we have huge strength. With new elected president in Maldives was the indication that they will be departing / separating from India.
3. India is not bullying Maldives infact Maldives doing the same.
4. India and Indian mindset is very positive and we are very honest and humble and dedicated to supreme controller/lord. We are very faithful and dedicated to to the person or country who supported us. Our education system and colleges, completion etc of very high level which Maldives ke minister ke intellect se bahaut upar hain.

All States governments can boost this important sector and provide income, jobs to locals and eçonomy of the State. And Bharatiya instead of going outside Bharat into foreign lands can help to bring prosperity to the people here itself.

The fact remains that chinese tourists count as a significant number in global tourism. Moreover the infrastructure and connectivity still remains a significant barrier in India. Hopefully we will see this changing going forward.
