Ahhh. So that’s how to replace a tie-rod! Just another part(s) I need to replace in the future. Haha!
You didn’t show precisely the part I’m having trouble with. Each time I edit my video the damn parts are still stuck together. I’ve removed castle nuts, etc. I have pickle fork, I have air hammer pickle fork, I have Thor’s hammer. Still it’s all stuck together. I need to learn your video edit tricks.
Heat it and beat it. Beat on the knuckle too. Sometimes they are really stuck.
Where did you buy these
@@mechtrician1 I couldn’t find a outer, RH, on npd. Would I be okay buying 2 inner, LH, and 2 Outer LH and use the LH for the right side?
@@josephsmith2484 no. You have to get the exact ones as I recall. They are each different.
Did you check Rare Parts website?
Love seeing someone keeping the six cylinder alive! My first car, which i still have, was a 66 six cylinder with power steering. When i rebuilt the front end i had to spend $500 on tie rods if i recall correctly. Love seeing your work!
