Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Zet Zillions and Cookie Cutter are quite strong in the bizarreness department too. Can warmly recommend, them, not just to Ryan.
@@heddja Nice, someone who knows of CC :D And thank you for asking! Will be glad to answer. Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a prologue to the Zeno Clash series, 3D beat-em-ups set in a weird land called Zenozoik. Inspirations range from medieval monster paintings like the Drolatic Dreams of Pantagruel and the works of Hieronymus Bosch, to prehistoric animals. Everyone is a total freak, monster, chimera or aberration and the inhabitants don't even seem to differentiate between species and subspecies. It's awesome to see how gnorpy and weird the Zenos can get-- the bizarreness is central to Zeno Clash's identity. There's characters one would recognize as "human" but they are considered to be just other Zenos. Zenozoik knows hardly any culture too, buildings are generally ramshackle, slapped-together or built over remnants of other buildings, and there's no central unified language, law or currency. Clash: AoC is a prequel from a time when there was the One Law: Prior to a physical altercation, you can challenge an opponent to a short game of dice. The winner gets to enforce a special condition upon the ensuing melee, defined by the Consequence Artifact the winner chooses. The One Law is completely optional to engage with-- if you want to get straight to fighting, you can do so. It's a very colorful game and the protagonist, Pseudo, is one of the most bizarre protagonists in appearance that you've ever seen,i can already assure you. He's also a disciplined martial artist hermit. Throughout the game you can find different fighting styles and special attacks to assign to Pseudo, and all of them have their own animation movesets and utility. For example, to start out with, you can choose one of three styles: - Slash Stance. Attacks hit fairly wide and the movements keep a low profile. Some attacks are a bit zig-zaggy. - Boxing Stance. Solid allrounder. - Spear Stance. Longest reach of any Stance and supplies concentrated damage straight ahead, but has some slow windup. Story's really good too. Well-written, well-acted. And the music does a LOT of strong stuff alongside the colors and art direction to help the atmosphere and emotional moments. (Look up the second and/or third tracks in the OST for example, The Boy Calls and Pseudo's Theme). Dearly love that game. Zet Zillions is a roguelike deckbuilder with a pretty off-kilter, colorful cartoonish Sci-Fi style. Pretty angular art style with bold colors and outlines. You are considered a character in-universe, commander of a planet that floats through an uncharted sector in space, compromised by a primordial death god from another dimension. On the map, every three turns or so, this death god "conquers" a new line of locations and slowly homes in on where you are. There's three allies, a sharp-toothed pale lady in uniform named Foam Gun who's quite trigger-happy, a thick-skinned crocodilian monster scientist named DOK, and a telepathic purple alien named Ziggy. Quite colorful cast, and the same goes for the enemies you can fight and the random encounters. For example, during fights, you can encounter the likes of: - giant bugs that fly through space, intergalactic bandits, psychic aliens in a flying saucer shaped liike the nipple of a baby milk bottle, dwarf stars (literally a star with a magnificent beard like a fantasy dwarf) and entire planets with faces, and some others. For random encounters there's stuff like - Another intergalactic federation's tax payment enforcer, a pineapple-headed silly little guy who sells cards for pineapples (they're a special currency in this universe), some sort of space witch to whom you can sacrifice an amount of health in exchange for a special card or trait during the run, a mystical flying space hand that can give you a healing massage if you're low on health, a wishing star who rides a flying skateboard and has sunglasses, etc. A special mechanic is that enemies don't just have a Health bar, but also a Population bar. You see, some cards can deal out Population, often cards with a variant of a creature known as Trash (a syntethic lifeform that DOK describes as "meat robots". When an enemy's Population is maxed out, they are dazed for an entire turn. There are cards that can capitalize on this, like Frag-a-Jam which deals two damage per Population point. You can also fuse certain cards together. Frag-a-Jam with a bottle of poison now deals two stacks of poison instead of direct damage for example. There's a lot to see and it plays well. Big reply here, but I hope this has proven interesting. Thank you again for asking, as well as for reading this all the way through if you did so. How do these sound to you based on this?

And i want to see how cheeky i can be and suggest Cookie Cutter and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos too.
For example, to start out with, you can choose one of three styles:
- Slash Stance.
For example, during fights, you can encounter the likes of:
- giant bugs that fly through space, intergalactic bandits, psychic aliens in a flying saucer shaped liike the nipple of a baby milk bottle, dwarf stars (literally a star with a magnificent beard like a fantasy dwarf) and entire planets with faces, and some others.
For random encounters there's stuff like
- Another intergalactic federation's tax payment enforcer, a pineapple-headed silly little guy who sells cards for pineapples (they're a special currency in this universe), some sort of space witch to whom you can sacrifice an amount of health in exchange for a special card or trait during the run, a mystical flying space hand that can give you a healing massage if you're low on health, a wishing star who rides a flying skateboard and has sunglasses, etc.
@@jurtheorc8117 sound actually pretty interesting, might have to check it out :)
41:49 CASEOHS HERE TOO
I watched jacksepticeye's video on this, and even as an American who does't really grasp Britishisms, I had a blast watching it. It's a simple game with simple humor and a charming art style
I'm glad to see Ryan playing this game! It is honestly so much like his humour it'd be a crime for him not to have played it!
Such a weird wacky game. Love how you reacted to it. Also, you needed to hit some of the fish twice so they had cigs in their mouths
Its nice and refreshing to see some new content! Especially on my bday! Keep up the good work Ryan!! 💗
A shame he missed out on the best "Reggie's wife could learn a thing or two" joke at Bish's stall (repeatedly slap all the fish every time you visit it).
18:30 i love when Ryan gives me encouragement from the back 🙏🙏
Didn't expect you to play this game, but I'm so happy to see it!! Surely gonna enjoy this with the good ol' snacks 🙌🏼 it's something different, just as you said, and I love it!
Fun fact: the people who made the audio for this game (Shell In The Pit) are the same people who made the audio for FNAF Security Breach
Ryan: Yes you probably shouldn't visit the UK
Me: But I live here
I know it shouldn't have bothered me as much as it has but the fact that he charged through the game and missed so much really got under my skin
I thought he was quite thorough
@@TheandY408 No right at the beginning he didn't finish exploring the area before jumping in the hole and then did the same again in the garden he jumped right down the well immediately and that's just 2 examples
There's a lot of jokes you can miss in a play through of the game.
@@Creatorsan True but he missed the most out of anyone else I've watched,
all because he charged through the game and not explore it a bit,
again though I'm not one who likes complaining he played it his way and not I nor anyone else can say otherwise he's a talented creator and a good person from what I've seen.
We can however be open and honest and state our opinions on the video wether they are a popular opinion or not
41:52 LMAOOO CASEOH WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??!
I really wanted a jacksepticeye/Markiplier guy to watch play games, and I finally found the exact guy I wanted! This is so funny!!!
52:59 WHATTTT the knackers is where they boil horse's bones to make GLUE if he took his MOM thereeeeee....
As soon as he said “I feel bad for the mum” JUST as they began his origin-story, I wept… with laughter
At first i dismissed this video, but im glad i went back to watch it fully. Some of the best laughs i've had.
The guy eating that burger really reminds me of Soos of how he grant his wish to have a pizza that never disappears and can just continue on eating. This is a funny yet amazing game. 👍 :]
This game is just Yorkshire: The Game.
I love this game and as a resident, I was laughing all the time when playing this.
12:19 immediately destroys man in back cooking carbs tho
Ryan I just want to say that you completed my childhood and i am still watching you to this day... I appreciate everything you do your videos are peek quality and make me so happy when you post a new one.
This game is living in my head rent free and while I'm American I can sorta understand the humor and it's gotten a couple big laughs out of me
I'm very much up for longer less-edited episodes on non-horror games. VERY much! I know you love your horror but i'd love to see you give attention to some other stuff like this or others. I reckon you'd especially get something out of Blud and No Straight Roads, for both being stylish, colorful, and Blud looking like a Cartoon Network horror/vampire slaying cartoon while NSR is an action game that mixes the music with the gameplay and has a focus on bosses. And i want to see how cheeky i can be and suggest Cookie Cutter and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos too. Again: Very colorful and stylish, with Cookie Cutter being beautifully 2D animated and out-there, with some dirty/adult jokes but a genuine core, and Clash: AoC with having a really unique world and fantastic atmosphere. Has a protagonist that looks like a grumpy earthworm inhabiting a humanoid carrot and is a master martial artist, solid gameplay, good voice acting, and MAN i'd just love to see you play it.
If you read through this, Ryan: Thank you for doing so. Same to anyone else. I hope this comment got anyone interested in checking out any of the games mentioned here. Please do.
'ave a good one and take care.
This game is ridiculous, lmao. Shame you can't free the lil flower. It looked so harmless and charming. /s
I'd love to see you play 'West Of Loathing' and 'Bugfables'
Well... I watch a 2+ hour play-through already, but now that you picked it up i guess ill watch again
Btw, this is jacksepticeye's new favorite game, and I am happy to see you Ryan having as much fun as him! Hope you are doing great and keep up the good content!!! 👍
lmfao the layin pipes guy absolutely destroying ryan killed me
YESSS I was hoping you'd play this
Yay Ryan uploads one of good yt vid to watch hype❤
I'm soooo hyped for this! Saw Mr Septiceye play it and thoroughly enjoyed it, can't wait for Ryan to experience it too
Finally, you are actually playing something that isn't aa horror game! THANK YOU!!!
Are there any non-horror games you'd love to see Ryan try out/play? FOr me it'd be No Straight Roads for certain, with hopes for Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Blud, Cookie Cutter and mayhaps a bit of Soulstice.
@@jurtheorc8117mario, zelda, or maybe an RPG
As someone from Britain this is scarily accurate
id love to see more chill content like this ryan!!
Yes! Finally I been waiting to see you play this game it’s amazing
Love the video regardless you speedrunning it and not looking at everything 😅
hey ryan i play lots of horror games and loved watching your subnautica and fnaf vids so i recommend you to play akabito im used to many games but this game really got me the randomness and creepy sounds when the monsters find you its amazing
I love the sequence at the beginning it reminds me of me of the 70s comedy’s like Monty python, fawlty towers, dads army, and all those over comforts that had that same sort of energy
