I hope they'll update the male only races to also be female. Outcast bugs me since you cannot change the ears, but the tail you can.
I am intrigued, why are you bugged by that trait of the oucasts?

Yeah, thats unfair. Freaking mummies and skeletons have genders. Yet lizardman gets male only? And why then is the Fully Transformed Malefested and Orc male only? They are "humanoid" enough to have two genders. This better be Beta only shit. Man, this will suck if the finished game has no complete gender variety. >8l

Not even the Lizardman. Even in SCIV there was a female Lizardman.
My guess is that the Orcs are like the Gerudo from Zelda: they're all one gender and breeding with humans results in their offspring always being 100% their race and gender.

What weird was how Japanese have seen any European races and genders fantasy but still didn't use their fantasy more frequently which make this customization less common sense
Hopefully they add female options for the orcs, lizard people, and fully transformed malfested. Because I mean come on at the very least give the option for the fully transformed since either gender techncially could be fully transformed. Even the skeletons had gender options! You don’t even have to put breasts on lizard people anyways since it’s anatomically inaccurate

I know, I just like correcting people when they call them orcs. They're actually based off of Necric from Soul Calibur II. Necrid was a brave and honorable warrior who accidentally got caught in a nexus and corrupted by the astral chaos, turning his skin green, his face partially decayed, etc. He looks like the Malefic except with a giant half-robot Nightmare arm.

The races for the character create are trashy. Like come on a mummy race, out cast, and the demon race are fucking a waste of space. I can make all those races with a human by changing of clothes, and some objects to attach to them.
The only unique ones are the orc, lizard man, and the melfested. But they only have male characters which is fucking dumb. Japanese developers are fuck ups, for every sequel they make. All they do is copy and paste. Making people buy the same shit again.

Hmm, like all the races as I can create most characters in my story. But i do wish the outcasts had more ear options as tails
I wish the outcast even slightly fit their description.
I mean, if they had visible claws, and more than EARS AND A TAIL I could see people thinking they look terrifying... But no matter how hard you try, you will NEVER convince me that ANYONE is scared of THAT.
Claws and fangs would help, but it bugs me that their tails are solid

@@TyrannusHF I choose none. They are both evil regardless. I mean come on. Soul Calibur always encases people in ice and crystal. At least that what I think it is. And Ivy almost died by that in SCIV. Even Siegfried was encased in that clear crystal substance. I'm not going anywhere near Soul Calibur. Lol I'll play the game, though.

I'm glad that there all this customization for thousands and thousands of combinations(as well as the myriad of characters you can make out of them). But this is only scratching the surface and I only hope that there would be dlc for the cacs other than other characters like Tira or Demperrie(Which only some would know who he is at this point and time)

glad spooky skeleton is back
So many options and maybe many more for upcoming DLCs and updates. Namco, while probably missing out on some opportunities, are going all in on this in case this does become the last Soul Calibur/Edge game. If it is then it’ll be sad to see this franchise go and possibly never return unless someone else decides to pick it up.
Can't wait to make Ainz (Skeleton Male+Azwel)
After looking at the creation list... I'm going to do either the Darksider character with the soul of Geralt or the Malefic character with the soul of Cervantes in the Libra of Soul story mode. My other creations will be the Shapeshifter character with the Soul of Voldo, the Mummy with the soul any of the Soul characters, and the Colossus with the soul of Siegfried, Nightmare, and Astaroth.

You're right! There is only one reasonable way to do it. That is, to start from the top middle and go left. Then, Middle bottom and got right. Then top right to the middle again, and then bottom left to middle. See? Simple!
