This game is actually based on a movie series called The Cube, There are also numbers in front of each door, which is a warning system and is the position of the cube on a grid, it also the tells you if the room is safe or if it is a death trap, but you will have to do some hard math to know the answer which are whole numbers like 2,4,6,8.
